Waltham Deli

Not good, not good at all.

A few months ago I received an email from this shop. I hadn't given them my details. Today, I received a cold call from parsnips and pears trying to sell me a veggie box. When I emailed the owner I received a ranting email back claiming he was a hard up farmer trying to make a living. Mysteriously he's obtained a database of local people's details, including telephone numbers, yet won't admit where the details came from, and won't remove details from his cold-calling database. Supply your details at your peril. They will email and call you even if you ask them to stop. I imagine it's another millionaire farmer who thinks he can extract money from anyone, in any way possible, with a complete disregard for the misery they cause from this harassment. Let's hope he takes note and stops the unsolicited cold calls and emails. Needless to say, I dislike begging cold-calls.

Popped in as we'd seen the sign on main road.
Little shop that makes sandwiches, paninis and looked like homemade cakes 😁
Had lots of different foods in.
We brought some rosemary and thyme, I think, crackers..... OMG delish!
Goes well with dips, going back for more 😉

Small crisp selection although it is a small shop. Cakes on top are always very nice. Can pay by cash or card.

Nice sandwich but skimping on filling. God awful scotch egg dried up and not very nice. Cakes are average and the coffee was ok.

Have been in the village many times but the first time in the deli fantastic choice polite and friendly staff 👍👍👍

Usually brilliant at Waltham deli ....but the sausages are not very good lately they tasted like vegan sausages

For all you cyclists wanting a great coffee, sandwich and flapjack on your route around the area this is a great place to pick up your goodies ... and lovely people
