Wonderfully friendly, funny guys! Wow! They were so accommodating! Food was fab and tasty. Reasonably priced. I used the bathroom which was spotlessly clean! Loved it. Next time I'm in Highbury and Islington (I'm from South East London) will definitely return. Made our day! Highly recommend.

Terrible breakfast! I had just about the worst breakfast I have ever had at this place. Dry, microwaved eggs, burnt bacon, horrible sausages- the toast was OK. Not cheap either. I could not have been more annoyed with this experience. Will never return and hope this review might persuade just one person to not give them any money.

Very cheerful staff! I had the salt beef sandwich which was not too salty and crispy from the grill. You can get a good lunch for about £5.

Love this place. The guys who run it have a healthy mix of friendly customer service and a we have what we have attitude. They have a great selection of sandwich fillings and breakfast baguettes. Yummy.

Popped in for a coffee after my morning walk and was so happy I did - the gentleman working behind the counter made my day! There was only one customer in the cafe at the time as it was very early, and even he was joining the conversation as the guys were just so funny / friendly / welcoming! Definitely found my new local coffee spot 🙌 P.S - Check out the incredible picture hanging on the wall.....😍🙌

Top marks!
The man behind the counter was so fun and friendly, he warmly greeted me and made me feel very welcome. The iced coffee I got was perfectly made and was a god send in the hot weather. I got a tuna sandwich that was freshly made with amazingly soft bread. Everything was brought to my table and delivered with a smile.
I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants a place to relax at before their train. ❤️

Today I was served this lasagne with ‘salad’. The lasagne cost £6.50 and the ‘salad’ was an additional £1.50!! Originally I asked for a jacket potato, but after 15 mins the guy came over to say that they in fact didn’t have any jacket potatoes (but then proceeded to serve some to other people???) he suggested I have the lasagne which I reluctantly agreed to (decided not to opt for a sandwich as the ones I could see him making didn’t look great….) eventually my boyfriend was served his lasagne, I was then served mine 10 mins later after he had finished, and my mum was served her chilli con carne 10 mins after that. I watched them microwave them all individually behind the counter and serve them up as they were ready, so we may as well have not been out for lunch together. The lasagne wasn’t bad, but the side salad was upsetting for its lack of usual salad accompaniments (e.g lettuce, tomato, onion) and for the price. The chilli was unnecessarily spicy, and I think this was owing to the fact that I watched the guy douse it in Tabasco before serving it up. Presumably in an attempt to add some flavour. The guy looked incredibly stressed and also frustrated with the customers. I can definitely say I won’t be visiting again.
