The Godalming Food Company

So much love for "The Deli", as we call it in Godalming. Superb food, great coffee, awesome cheeses, cold meats and local delicacies. Deli After Darke is their Friday night eat-in experience and honestly, it's blooming divine. The shrimp butter, heirloom salad and aubergine are all musts. Awesome wine selection, fab cocktails... you actually won't find better.

Lovely spot to stop at in Godalming. Lots of interesting products (jams etc) and a zero waste section in the shop too. Take out coffees in compostable cups 👍

The seating inside is a bit limited due to the size of the cafe, but the atmosphere is really nice. The outdoor seating across the road boosts capacity and is lovely.

Iced flat white: great! Pain au chocolat: lovely (though could have been a bit lighter as was a little dense).

Would love to come back and try their full menu!

...This is what I was told when I ordered a bacon sandwich at the Godalming Deli. And how true those words were. I enjoyed the best bacon sandwich that I've ever had and it certainly didn't need brown sauce! Thank you.

Very sweet attendant today who was extremely nice and helpful. First time visiting and the orange + chocolate cake was to die for. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be a regular.

A big thank you to Kevin and the whole team for providing the perfect setting to say hello to being 40 with a private party at the Deli. With a delicious tailored ‘after Darke’ menu, scrumptious cocktails (that went down a little too easily!) and superb hosting, all our guests have raved about the night since. Get booking, you won’t regret it.

The sandwiches are very good and pretty expensive, so it sort of balances out, if you're in the mood for splashing the cash. The coffee is also good. Limited seating but quirky interior and friendly staff.
