Visiting the dentist is never something people enjoy, but is a essential part of life, I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience with Ivory dental care.
The staff are always professional and welcoming
And more than happy to spend that extra five minutes to reassure you and put you at ease if you are slightly nervous patient such as myself.
Immaculate modern surroundings at the Park Road surgery with really friendly staff who are always happy to see you.

Nicest dental practice I have ever been to! From reception staff to the dentist and nurse I saw it was such a nice experience! The friendliest people! I am such a nervous patient, I was shaking and crying I was that nervous but Mr Peter Doyle and nurse Helen Mercer were so very kind and patient with me. I was treated with such care and niceness that I almost couldn't believe my luck in finding such a great new dentist practice. Thank you so much Peter and Helen, your kindness has made me feel less nervous and happy to come back.

After 39 years attending Ivory Dental Care at both practices, it is with a heavy heart I leave this review. Around 10 years ago I was advised the whole practice was going private, and if I opted in as private, then my children could stay on as NHS. The practice started taking NHS patients back on but didn’t offer this to me. This didn’t concern me too much as long as my children would always be seen. My eldest daughter who now pays her way under NHS had a check up and the receptionist booked the follow up scale and polish appointment under band 1 so inclusive in the original cost. When they finished the treatment she was charged again. I contacted the practice and was advised, the original receptionist should have booked the appointment within 3 months and they can’t explain why she didn’t. I was there at the original appointment as we book as a family and we just accepted the first appointment given. They just keep saying it shouldn’t have been done and monies haven’t been refunded. During this query I was advised that my dentist is only going to see private patients and all my children would have to either pay for a private Denplan or £58 for a check up. These costs would be the same for my 10year old! Upset and disgust after years of loyalty doesn’t come close. The girl on the phone was very apologetic and took the brunt of my complaint, which she agreed she understood why I was so upset. I was advised they still have 2 dentists that have NHS patients but can’t take on any more. I was then told some parents do pay for their children when I asked how on earth can I support these costs. I work 2 jobs to pay my way with mortgage/bills and support all 4 of my children on my own, along with paying private myself I don’t think it’s too much to ask to keep my under 18s within the practice under NHS.

Disgusted by the way Ivory Dental are treating (or not) NHS patients. You know - regular people.
After receiving their letter on 25th march 2022, we were made aware that they will be offering "private dentistry only" from 1st July 2022.

Our Foster child had a scheduled appointment for 24th May - a good 5 weeks ahead of the 1st July deadline, yet Ivory Dental call us today (Friday 13th May) just about a week ahead of the appointment - to say they will not be honoring the appointment.

This appointment was for ongoing treatment and referral to an orthodontist which our 13 year old child desperately needs.

Ivory Dental are surely aware of the difficulties involved in finding an NHS Dentist anywhere near the Blackpool area - but obviously don't give a hoot for the needs of already disadvantaged children in care of the local authority.

I really don't think they could stoop much lower.

Miss Patel is an amazing and super friendly dentist, she did such a fantastic job with my teeth that I can finally be happy about smiling again.
Prices are fair and everyone at the practice is polite and helpful.
I definitely recommend Ivory if you’re looking for professional and reliable service. Thank you!

Peter Doyle & his assistant Georgina gave excellent service to me during my treatment with them.
They kept me advised about what they were doing at all times.
I had 2 dental implants, which I love, and I can't thank them enough for for their care throughout the procedure.
Definitely a 5 star service.
