College Dental Surgeries

I have attended College Dental Surgeries for close if not more than 25 years. Recently I needed 2 implats to bridge 3 of my front upper teeth. (this was needed as I broke my teeth 50+ years ago) Nick advised me a few years ago that these crows failing and I would need to consider options. For me the only option was implants. Nick explained all the steps and the risks thoroughly and I was happy to proceed. Start to finish took a little longer than normal with me (due to my work schedule) Fortunately I was able to work with Nick and we got it done. I am delighted with the results and happy to recommend Dr Nick Spilker and College Dental Surgeries.

I had an implant a few months back, I was a bit nervous and unsure what to expect. Nick explained the whole process to me and detailed how long it would take, number of visits and cost which helped ease my nerves as well as helped me plan. I would recommend this surgery for all dentistry.

My Implant treatment was painless (apart from the cost, that hurt) but honestly well worth the money, Nick put any worries or concerns I had to rest, his professionalism and reassurance was brilliant. No complaints about the surgery at all.

My implant treatment was interrupted by a major illness and a spell in hospital which meant I was 'nil by mouth' for six months. Nick's excellent work gave me a good set of functional teeth which has greatly helped me to eat and swallow again, and with my general rehabilitation.

I have just completed treatment for upper and lower implants and could not be happier with the work by Nick. I had previous dental implants by Nick over 10 years ago which have been fantastic; so when I needed further work, I knew I would be in safe hands. I am not local to the practice, but make the journey just to see him as he is a first class dentist and would highly recommended him and his team. So friendly and professional and calm and gentle. I used to be a very nervous patient, but I can honestly say I now never feel phased at having any treatment.

My wife and I have attended College Dental Surgeries for the last 40 years and it has gone from strength to strength with continuing technological updates with the latest equipment and treatment methods. The staff are excellent and the level of competence outstanding. One always feels welcome with their friendly and professional approach to patients. A few years ago, I had 7 implant pins fitted by Nick Spilker which support 9 teeth and I feel they were an excellent investment. The work was well planned giving time for healing before the next stage. I was surprised at the lack of pain and swelling during the treatment. Visiting the surgery during the pandemic you feel safe, the premises are very clean and a one-way system for entry and exit is in operation.

I’ve been seeing a dentist at College Dental since I was a child and have found no reason to change! The service has always been great; they are trustworthy and professional. Last year I chose to have my teeth straightened with aligners and I wouldn’t have wanted to have it done anywhere else. Nick Spilker is always efficient and clearly explains treatment. Recently completed my teeth straightening treatment with College Dental Surgeries and honestly couldn’t praise them any higher!! The customer service is absolutely amazing, if I messaged them I wouldn’t wait much longer than an hour for a reply. Nick is a highly skilled dentist who has a very calm and reassuring manner and is a true professional. After the initial assessment Nick recommended cfast braces to straighten my teeth. The treatment was very straight forward and so effective, I only wish I had done it sooner! I now have the smile I’ve always dreamed off and I would recommend this to anyone!!
