Elton Dental Surgery

Very uncomfortable experience. Dentist didn't say as much as a hello when I walked in his door. Drew up a treatment plan of what needed to be done and handed it to me and I had to actually ask what he has just done because nothing was explained. Such an awkward atmosphere. Asked the dentist about teeth whitening to which I was just handed a leaflet and he didnt explain explain a thing. The nurse sat there in silence for the hour. Definitely will not go back to this place again.

Went for my first appointment. It was 9.15 on a saturday morning. They open at 9am. I then waited for 45 minutes. At least four other people arrived and were seen quickly. The place seemed poorly organised. I left without having been seen. I just felt that I could not trust their organisation. Perhaps I was wrong but I have never had to wait so long at a dentists. I was after all the second appointment of the day and things had already gone wrong. No one tried to explain to me why there was such a delay.

Best Dental Surgery I have ever had. I fail to understand the previous comment because I have found the staff both courteous and helpful. The dentist I have is great 👍 and I have overcome my fear of going to the dentist! 😁

Very professional, friendly and polite.
Always very punctual regarding appointments, I highly recommend this practice to anybody who is looking for an absolute exceptional dental experience.

I have had 3 sleepless nights with pain waiting for my appointment which at the time of booking told them I would need a filling and an extraction (my tooth was broken off). I took the afternoon off, was given an X-ray to be told everything I knew already. They refused to do it then, insisting I book another appointment (earliest 3 weeks). I paid £20 + for the pleasure and nobody seemed bothered it was as emergency. I got an appointment with Chelmer Village practice the next day who are doing the extraction. I am now leaving them after 48 years. Mr Puny was the Dentist. I am laying here awake in pain this same night. Thanks “Elton” for another sleepless night with the worse toothache I have ever had!!!
