The Maltings Dental Surgery

I love coming to the surgery. I have always had a good experience with caring and considerate dentists. My daughter has always had positive visits and listens to their advice about oral hygiene- something I can’t always manage! So truly grateful for their services.

Not a great place to work with. Have very often had communication & payment issues. You really need to get the reception up to speed with follow up calls and make sure the dentists explain things to patients rather than get them in and out as soon as they can. Also if dentists are running behind it would be good to notify customers prior to arriving. A 40 min wait after the appointed time, is not great at all.

The staff were excellent. The dentist came to reception. Called and lead me to his room. He passed a compliment, "That's a nice cardigan you wearing.". I was over the moon. Interacting with me explaining the procedure. Reassurance GIVEN throughout the process. They work as a team with his nurse. WELL DONE TEAM.

Treatment received was fine but trying to book an appointment was a nightmare. I noticed while waiting for my appointment that there were no incoming calls. These are obviously blocked. I left numerous messages being told somebody would call me back. No chance. Seems you can only book on line. Many of us older people struggle on the Internet. I am unable to switch from one site to another so coming out of booking my appointment to get my security code did not work. You seriously need to look at this. I am highly disappointed.

Friendly service. I took my mother who is in a wheelchair, reception staff always helpful getting the lift for us. Dentist friendly & gave information to mum as she went along. Thank you to all the staff. Doing a great job.

First time at the surgery and had a great experience. Very friendly and helpful staff, negligible wait times. Highly recommend Dr Neil Patel who was very empathetic and reassuring given it was emergency consultation appointment

Quick booking system. Atmosphere is calm and was seen promptly. Have been going here a few years and always received great care and best for me not what is more expensive. Neil has been very helpful with my treatment given a friendly feel

This is the best dental practice in St Albans. They are kind and empathetic and will work with whatever anxieties you have. They never recommend treatments that are not needed. The waiting room is calm and the whole place is spotless. The reception team are friendly and welcoming. I will never change to another dentist if I can help it.
