Elm Park Dental Surgery

I would like to commend the services of dental surgeon Keyvan and dental nurse Vanessa his afternoon. They both put me at my ease with explanations and information before and after the extraction.
Their professional yet friendly interaction was a credit to them both.

Up until today, I have been very happy with this surgery. However, after the way I was treated today by Mr Kamran, neither I or my family will ever use them again.

The dentures that had been made for me were very painful and didn’t fit properly. When I explained this to Mr Kamran, he became very rude and overtly angry stating I was insulting him and that was the best he could do. I explained that I wasn’t criticising his work; the dentures are made from moulds in a laboratory off-site and perhaps the error occurred there. He continued to become angry and argumentative and I felt very upset and intimidated. He told me to get my money back and go elsewhere. I asked if there was a practice manager I could speak to in order to complain about his behaviour and he told me that he is the practice manager and there is no one above him.

I was very shocked as this attitude and behaviour was very different to his usual personality. Even if he is having a bad day, he should remain professional and treat his patients with respect. I left the surgery very distressed at the way I was treated.

I have been going to this dentist for many years (Don’t ask me why)
I live about 30 minutes away so always book my family of 4 (2A & 2C) in to see the dentist at the same time.
For the last couple of appointments, I have arrived just before the time booked to be told that I have missed my appointment slot due to being 4 hours late. Why would I book a dentist appointment for my family at midday during the week when my wife is a teacher and the children are at school until 3pm?
My suggestion is: If you are registered as NHS patients they bump your appointments to fit in private patients and tell you that you have missed your appointment.
Insist on taking a name from the receptionist and record your calls as I have done to prove they are the ones who are in the wrong or alternatively choose a different dentist.

A family member just visited and has come home upset. The dentist/practice manager went absolutely insane because a denture did not fit. The nurses were mortified; please avoid this practice (absolutely shambolic).

First time i visited this place today for my todler, absolutely shocked by the service recieved from the receptionist. Totally unprofessional and very rude! Experienced racism from the receptionist! Needless to say, I won't be taking my son there again! Funny how there is also another negative review few months ago from another customer complaining about the receptionist and experiencing racism, i thought things would've changed by then, but clearly hasn't!

Dont go to this dentist! I was seen by a female dentist, and I have never met a more rude arrogant person in my life, my filling came out and she stuck something in there, without explanation and basically told me to leave. It took me to ask lots of questions to even know what she had done. I have been there a few times and never been 100% so God knows why I have kepted going back. An absolute joke this place.

I am a very nervous patient, my dentist had left and I was worried about seeing someone new. I saw a dentist called Priya who was very calm and considerate, put me at ease and did a great job. Very happy

Very pleased with the compassionate and caring service provided to my son today by the female dentist Abbey, completely put him at ease during his treatment. Thank you
