Smile Dental Care - Slough

I was referred here by NHS 111 on Sunday. The detist was extremely helpful, extracted my fractured molar tooth over the weekend. Sorted me out quickly in one visit, as a nervous patient this was much better for me. The appointment was not rushed at all, everything was explained and the dentist was brilliant. I had a tooth removed and I felt no pain from the injection.

Dr Maudidi has to be the best practitioner!! She is so kind and extremely patient especially as I am a very nervous patient. She is worth her weight on gold. And Joanna the receptionist is amazing,she always goes the extra mile which is greatly appreciated.

Smile Slough was the only place in Berkshire that 111 could get an emergency appointment with when my daughter badly damaged her front teeth when she collapsed in the street as the result of an epileptic seizure and was unable to get dental care at A&E in Reading.

The receptionist was incredibly caring & helpful and the dentist was just brilliant, especially considering the severity of the damage & pain. The dental nurse was admirably professional as well.

The team spent about 45 minutes with us even though it was an unplanned appointment on a busy day & made us feel totally welcome throughout.

Today the team at Smile Dental Care in Slough showed us the very best of what the NHS does for it's patients and I cannot recommend them enough.

My visit coincided with a plumbing leak at the surgery so my appointment was rebooked for a week later. I was still charged £35.00 even though no treatment was administered. The staff were very courteous so we await next week's appointment with interest.

Dr Maudidi was absolutely amazing taking my wisdom tooth out. Classical music and the goggles were perfect. The dental nurse was was lovely too and held my hand while the procedure happened. Thank you so much.

Got the necessary attention as I needed some emergency treatment! The service was nice and my wait time expectation was shared which helped me manage the time. Got my teeth looked after and left feeling much better

Referred by Berkshire’s Emergency Dental line on Christmas Day for an emergency appointment. Staff were friendly which is why they get two stars. Unfortunately, the dentist wanted to get us in and out, no true time and attention was given, no X-ray was taken even though the fee we paid also covered this. After following up with our local dentist today, we now know the wrong antibiotics were also given and a stronger course should have been prescribed. Not sure I would recommend again.

Each occasion I have to wait 40-60 mins to see a dentist. There are no apologies or explanation. They have too many front staff, clutter together chatting on whatever it is, whilst we sit and wait. Not one would approach and give an update, why things are running late. It’s not the first, nor will it be the last. We as patients have things we have reschedule for this agreed confirmed appointment. My crown was not available or ready, which left my situation in discomfort. After this I will be going private.
