However I cannot fault any dentist work I have had done
They give appointments and never keep them they don't bother to inform you of the cancellation despite the fact you've been waiting for months on end and the customer service is disgusting so rude unbelievable.
They can't even tell you how much a fillings going to cost you. All I can say is stay well clear
I arrived 5 minutes late due to an accident on the road, and i could not get in to their car park as someone was struggling to get out.of the car park. The receptionist was then busy with a call so i couldnt speak to her, after 10 mins she managed to get me in to the hygienist. Who was instantly said 'You were lucky, i had my car keys in my hand' she said abruptly.
She then asked me questions about when i last had a hygienist appointment, had she have taken the time, care and attention she would have seen it was herself, 3 months before. (On that occasion I paid for 30 minutes and was in the room for about 20 - so avoid paying extra for long appointments).
She then took a tool and starting poking around my mouth, catching my lip with the sharp instrument. After this she took the electric scaler to my mouth, she was very rough, to the extent i asked her to stop and be less rough. She glared and barked 'its under your gum line'.
Now I have had plaque build issues for many years, so much so i have 3 monthly visits to the hygienist for at least the laat 12 years (in various dental surgeries), but i had never expeienced such rough treatment like this.
She continued, i felt very apprehensive, she continued to be rough, in fact more so. I signalled to stop, and terminated the treatment.
I spoke to the manager who I notice went to speak to the hygienist first, which i felt to be incorrect approach. We then talked and manager apologised, I asked for a part refund of half, which i got. But as i sit here, at home 2.5 hours later, still tasting quite a bit of blood in my mouth i feel upset that they did not honour a full refund for such unprofessional treatment.
Its a real shame as the dentist is superb. But i will not pay privately to be treated by a hygienist in such an unprofessional manner.
I would appreciate a call to discuss this further, before any reply is posted here.
