I had my fast track braces here by chi chi and the service was brilliant! The reception staff are always friendly and greet me and my family with a smile. They were efficient when I needed quick appointments and appointments to work around my hectic schedule.

Thank you blackfen dental care team for giving me a straight white smile within 6months and putting my children at ease in the dentist chair!

I can not recommend this dentist enough, they helped me in a time when I had recently lost my front tooth due to an accident. They was quick and understanding and made the whole process so smooth. They make sure appointment are always confirmed and call in, they also greet you on entry and have a warm conversation. Even in such stressful times when every health care professional is being worked tirelessly. The results of my new implant is amazing and has given me back the normality I thought I wouldn’t have again. They deserve all praise. Hannah & Chi Chi have been so helpful all along the way and I can’t thank them enough! Along with the rest of the team at Blackfen Dental Care!

I am very happy with the service at this practice. I had tooth problems during lockdown and had to contact the surgery. I was called back as promised and given helpful advice and even received a text from my dentist, to ask how I was managing. Altogether really impressed.

Our daughter had fast braces fitted by Chi Chi. She now has the most amazing set of teeth, she is so happy with them. Chi Chi and her assistant, Parry, are both amazing. Absolutely no hesitation to recommend their fantastic service.

I have always been able to contact the surgery via email/telephone and I have equally received a reply just as quick. I think the team of staff are a credit to the Dentists. The receptionists are polite and Chi Chi is always efficient and eases my concerns immediately. Thank you to you all for being friendly and reassuring at all times. Our family are very happy with the services we receive.

**EDIT IN RESPONSE TO PRACTICE REPLY**

The practice closes from 1-2 for lunch, so they are not foregoing lunch breaks.
I attended my appointment for a filling and NO respirators or hats were worn. It was exactly as it always was but with a plastic face shield.
I don't doubt that your staff have worked hard throughout the current situation but if you're going to respond to reviews, at least ensure you are telling the truth!!

I've always highly rated the dental practice and I cannot fault Chi Chi or her work.
Unfortunately, since Covid started, they have changed their practices and now, if you need a filling, you need to go and have the examination done, pay for that and then book to be seen again at a later date for the actual work.
I was seen on June 24th and the nearest appointment to have the actual work done was August 6th, which I took. Regrettably, I have had to cancel due to a conflicting hospital appointment for my daughter. Rang 19 July to ask to rebook from 6 August, only to be told that its a "Specialist Appointment" (Not sure when a filling required a specialist appointment) and the next available date they had was 27 September!
Really losing faith in their practice which is a shame as we've always thought highly of them in the past.

So, I booked there twice. The first time was regarding my first molar on the right side that's broken from the back side and had made a hole. I wanted them to fix it, but they disregarded it and told me "there's nothing to worry about" even though I wanted it fixed! It's not what they worry about or not, it's what's bothering me! They rather focused on a complete different issue which is really nothing that's bothering me at the time at least or causing pain or anything.

Later, I booked again regarding pain in my wisdom teeth on the right side (upper and lower jaw). I keep on biting the side of my cheek and the following row of teeth hurt (and it's because of them). I wanted them completely removed, especially the sharp one in the upper jaw. They took an x-ray and said "I'm not worried" - but again, it's me in pain, and it worried me because of what I have to go through over some 3/4 grown wisdom teeth on the upper and lower jaw on the same side to make it even worse.

Again, they focused on a completely different issue that's absolutely not bothering me at all, that is, a filling required for some tooth that I actually don't believe it needs a filling, but if any, at the very least it's minor and not as urgent as the other issues I'm complaining about.

Both occasions I had my concerns disregarded. To date, I still suffer from what I have mentioned above. A piece of advice, when you go there, insist on solving what's hurting you and not something irrelevant to the source of pain you have.

Please NOTE - This review is not about their work quality, because I have not had any job done by them. It's merely about not meeting my concerns and solving my problem.

Cheers.

-- EDIT

They're now claiming that they tried to call me. Yes true, they called me to confirm the potential date they've given me to do a filling, in which I told them to cancel it as I don't want a filling at the minute, I had greater concerns at the time, that is, my wisdom teeth, and the hole caused by broken molar due to poor job by another dentist in a different dental practice.

This practice doesn't even deserve the one star. I had an appointment on the 19th February 2021 to replace one filling however, when i arrived i was told i needed three!!! When it came to the last filling i asked if i could leave it for the time being but was scared into getting it by the dentist telling me i would need a root canal and crown to fix it next time. The dentist also said "do you think it is easy for me to breathe through all of these masks". I was already petrified of the dentist and now my fear has grown, i left the practice traumatized, in tears and inconsolable.
