The Avenue Dental Practice

Fitted me in at short notice when I broke my front tooth due to a flying motorcycle component (don't ask !) even though I hadn't been for a checkup in 5 years (naughty me). Have done a brilliant repair job to my tooth, can barely see it's been repaired. Fast, friendly.

Wanted £10 deposit. No emergency appointments available. Very rude reception staff. Took courage to even phone up as terrified of dentists. Waste of time. Plus they're just round the corner from me. Awful service

I'm not sure where my previous review went? I wasn't with this surgery for long before finding a much friendlier and professional one. The reception staff were ok to me, I just found the dentist rude, abrupt and almost finding work to do (replacing old fillings that were not causing a problem). The nurse would be more interested in her mobile 'phone whilst I was in the chair (yes, I can see reflections!) and they always seemed to be sharing a private joke. Avoid at all costs, literally!

My dentist is wonderful here. I have developed a real fear of dentists over the years and often faint after having treatment but Sunil is amazing. He is conscious of my anxiety and always knows the right thing to say to keep me calm. Recent visit during lockdown from a cracked tooth was fixed promptly and very happy with the results. Couldn’t recommend more highly

The dentist was exceptionally good and the practice seems to be well run from what I could gather on my visit. I'd definitely recommend this practice to others, I'm not sure why people are giving it 1 star!

I was shocked at the reviews for this dentist. I’m a very nervous patient and I’ve been using them for over 25 years with no complaints. They’ve always been excellent with me.

Always friendly and reassuring i would thoroughly recommend them. I don't particularly like going to the dentist but i get treated so well i wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

If I could give 0 stars I would, this place doesn’t even deserve a 1.
Poor management and poor examinations.
The dentist that I saw was unapproachable, not thorough and was not personable in the slightest.
Avoid, you’re better off finding a private dentist that will care for your needs.
