Poynters Road Dental Practice

I was extremely disappointed with the service provided by one of Dr at Poynters dental clinic, My daughter had a Appointment today & she was seen second time in 3months for a referral for her teeth alignment, Dr. Fatima told my wife that my daughter had plaque & she can come again after 3months, because she can’t refer with plaque on, I understand this bit, but then shockingly she refused to clean the build up plaque from my daughter teeth by saying that, if she cleaned this plaque, then it will built again in 3 months & told my wife to buy cleaning tablets & try to clean it at home, I went back with my daughter that why teeth were not cleaned, but was sent back, because she was busy with another patient, my daughter was seen by here only 5mins & I don’t understand why she didn’t clean her teeth, if plaque was there, I think it’s not professional attitude & u should full fill ur duties as a dentist, it was a 30mins appointment, did u get rid of my daughter in 5mins, so you can utilise extra 25mins for something else. Cleaning was must, if plaque was build up & it’s not a excuse that if she clean now, then plaque will come back in 3 months, also if u start referring the plaque cleaning tablets, then what’s the point of coming to you for a general teeth clean. I think Dr. Need to have a positive attitude with high level professionalism, which was not seen in Dr. Fahima Hussain, hope she learn from this feedback & provide a better service next time.
