Specialist Dental

Nobody "likes" going to the dentist but this is the place to go. The dental and gum care is the best anywhere and over many years I have tried a few. The team are dedicated to providing the best treatment and have the latest equipment and training to ensure you get it. I would have lost teeth years ago if not for this place. I have had to wait on occasion but equally my appointments have sometimes overrun because they are so thorough.

I had a 30 min hygiene appointment.
From the entry into the clinic it feels like you're about to be pampered.
The reception team offers you a nice warm drink and you wait in a relaxing area with a beautiful aquarium and the background music is so soothing.
Katy's work in my mouth was so delicate, she was very informative and the cleanliness of my mouth was striking.
They even have other specialist in house if I needed further treatments.
I was genuinely inspired to take better care of my oral health.
A trip to a dental clinic like Specialist Dental is definitely a therapeutic one.
I would highly recommend them.

From the moment you walk in you definitely feel attended to. It feels more like a spa than a dental practice.
The specialists are incredible, they explain everything to you and walk you to reception at the end. I had no idea that gum disease can affect the heart!!
They also have a dentist and hygienist.
I had no idea that a place like this was here in Guildford.

I have been coming to this practice from London for years, and cannot speak too highly of the treatment received and of the friendliness and helpfulness of both the professional and the reception staff.

I had a great experience at this dentist and was impressed by every member of staff I came into contact with. The reception team are knowledgeable and friendly, the dentists are skilled and extremely well adept at explaining not only the options for procedures, but the future impact of each option in an honest manner. I was most impressed by the fact that I was often not guided down the path which would make the practice the most money (as has happened with previous private practices) but instead felt I was treated according to my best interests, regardless of monetary value to the practice.

I am also quite a nervous patient and was made to feel relaxed and comfortable in an environment that I would usually dread.

A specialist consultation twice the cost of other 2 dentist, did not find an infection by my wisdom tooth, which I pointed out from the outset nor did they agree with the other 2 dentists that my wisdom tooth due to its position was recommended to be removed surgically in a hospital.

APPALLING AFTER SERVICE! I went in for a wisdom tooth extraction on a Friday. I was assured by the Dentist, Receptionist and the paperwork that there was an emergency contact no should I have any problems over the bank holiday weekend. I was still in extreme pain Sunday night and by the early Monday phoned over 9 times the emergency line, (no 1 on their options but when you do this the line goes dead). In desperation I then left messages on their message line but no response. After 12 hours of excruciating pain I had to resort to going into A and E. Long story short. They kept me in over night dosed up on morphine and intravenous antibiotics. On the Tuesday morning I finally get an email from the practice! 24 hours too late!
