Firs Dental Surgery

I registered with this surgery 11 months ago and I particularly enjoy the service, it was very easy to book an emergency appointment and the whole ordeal was very painless and Dr Ahmed was very helpful and catered to my needs. If I ever need another dental appointment I will definitely return.

Thank you to all of the team at Firs Dental Surgery. I urgently needed a filling and was impressed with how caring and professional Dr Ahmed was. I had a pain free injection and was extremely pleased with the filling itself. The surgery was very clean and had a calm atmosphere with a friendly and efficient team. Overall an excellent experience - I would certainly recommend this dental practice.

In my experience all the staff are friendly polite and kind. Dr Ahmed has turned this practice around and created a safe and professional environment. The receptionist and dental nurses have always done their best to accommodate me and when sitting in the waiting area I have always witnessed courtesy and kindness to patients. I would highly recommend this dental surgery.

Worst surgery ever rude receptionist. Dentist stopped seeing me in the middle of treatment after he had done a temporary root canal. Which I have never heard of. Left me in pain and un filled tooth just because i missed an appointment. I explained why I couldn’t make it. So unprofessional. Opened a complaint and definitely taking this further. Unbelievable. Asked to speak to him and receptionist refused hanging up phone. Having to find another dentist at this crazy times to deal with the mess he caused.

There are times when something slightly extraordinary happens that you feel compelled to remark upon; our two recent visits to Firs Dental in Caterham, are just such a case in point. All pretty routine stuff, however what distinguished them was the friendly, caring and comforting environment in which we got absorbed into thanks to the friendly and efficient Receptionist as much as the highly skilled yet gentle affability of the dental nurse and young hygienist. They conspired to put us at ease and made us feel comfortable. All three deserve much praise for so successfully blending professionalism with delivery of those intangible elements of patient care.

Just wanted to leave a big thank you to Michelle, although we have not been patients at this surgery for some time, she really put herself out to help us resolve a clerical issue we had with the NHS . The staff at this dental surgery have always been friendly and helpful and have always gone above and beyond. We are so sorry that we have moved out of the area and are no longer able to go there for our dental treatment. I would certainly recommend this practice either for NHS treatments or the private services they offer.

My wife just returned from this Dental Surgery - The Dentist and Tech during the extraction was professional and accommodating, however, the same cannot be said for the receptionist who was curt and blunt. Zero customer interpersonal skills.
It seems that NHS patients are treated this way - I wonder if private patients have the same experience. My wife and I were registered with this facility as NHS patients.
We will be cancelling the proposed hygienist visit and the mouthguard that was suggested, to take our custom elsewhere.

I have just visited Firs Dental Surgery and as ever the Receptionist is super helpful and kind. In fact all staff are friendly and courteous. Dr Ahmed explained the procedures in a kind, calm way. I have been a client for many years now.
Visited today 1 July 2021 - hygienist appt with Simona. I have had many hygienist appts and this has been the best by far. They have all been pretty good but Simona was kind and so very gentle. Highly recommended.
I had an extraction a few weeks ago with Dr Ahmed and again kind, patient and painless. I would highly recommend Firs Dental Surgery.
