London Road Dental Practice

After my dentist of 32+ years retired, it was with fear and trepidation going to see a new dentist. I accompanied my son for his first visit and was greeted by a friendly receptionist. Dr Kumar, who came recommended to me, took the time to meet me after the check up and appeared very friendly and professional. I'm feeling less apprehensive now when I visit for my own check up! Tucked away in Guildford, this NHS dentist is much needed in the area. Thank you!

I was excited to find a new dentist taking on NHS patients after waiting for almost 2 years to find one.

However, my experience was not pleasant..

Firstly, i felt like the whole visit was very rushed even though i was the only person in there. This cannot be understated.

Secondly, i was charged £80 for my teeth to be "privately" cleaned for 5 minute's even though my privious dentist use to do this with ever visit for free. I then later found out that on the NHS this service should of been free "if my teeth required it". Which clearly they did, as i had not seen a dentist in 2 years and they were more than happy to take my money to do the clean instead of suggesting otherwise.

I was also given the option of having a root canel removed to clean the tooth beside it.. a procedue that most dentists in the past would have only suggested as an extreme last resort. I was a but shocked to hear this as an inital option.

Beside this i found the dentist to be very "heavy handed" compared to previous dentists i have had. I know the dentist is not meant to be pleasant, but everything felt very rushed and rough. Two words i would never want to use to describe my dentist.

My father also went to the dentist the following week to have a crown put on. A few days later it fell off and now needs to be replaced again..

In conclusion, it sadens me to write this, but i feel like other people should be aware of what they might experience as teeth are not only expensive but something you dont want to mess around with. And i personally feel messed around.

Lovely team at the London Dental Centre. From the kind greeting from the receptionist to the Dentist (Anum) and Dental Nurse.
I highly recommend here especially if you need a NHS dentist.
I have paid a deposit for the dental clean as this is private but please support the NHS dentists as they are very limited and we will loose them if we don’t, I highly recommend my Dentist Dr Anum.

Really lovely staff. Normally really nervous about the dentist with all the treatment but everyone does their bit to reassure me. Had a fair bit of treatment done over multiple visits. Easy to get the appointment every week with the time I wanted.

Dr Kumar is brilliant, the airflow treatment has left my teeth looking and feeling the best they have ever been! I would massively recommend this dentist! (Best in Guildford)

Recently visited this dental practice and was very pleased with the work carried out also very friendly and accommodating.....got me in last minute for a tooth ache and sorted the problem just before Xmas for me....highly recommend this dental practice....thanks again 👍

They went above and beyond to help me. Got me out of excruciating pain. They were really helpful with any issues I had. Would recommend this dentist practice to all. Cannot thank them enough.
