Sandes Avenue Dental Practice

My son had two adult teeth removed (aged 13y) by Jamil Noor and nurse Maxine, prior to having a fixed brace. They were both very good at appearing relaxed and that helped my son remain relaxed for the procedure. They also frequently reassured him that if there was any discomfort, they would stop and give more local anaesthetic, which was necessary. They made his visit as painless and as relaxed as possible.

Jamil, Maxine and everyone at Sandes Avenue Dentists have been brilliant. I hadn't been to a dentist in about a decade, and needed a lot of work done. The relaxed and friendly environment made any of my nerves disappear, and all work was explained before it was carried out so I was aware of what was going on. A brilliant dental practice all round.

Dr Abdulla Malik and Polly his nurse are brilliant. I have always been petrified of going to the dentist. Have never experienced such care and understanding like I have at Sandes Avenue Dentist.
Had a large filling yesterday, totally pain free, didn’t feel the injection, something I have not experienced in the past. Could not be happier. Totally recommend this Clinic, and have a friend who is now going to go to Sandes on his return from Europe after relating my experience to him.

When I arrived, I informed the staff on reception who I was, and they asked for my date of birth which I replied back that information as requested. Asked which floor the surgery will take place they informed me that Dr Iqbal was up 3 flights of stairs but after being on the bus to have the procedure done as requested by my dentist, and the use of walking sticks to get around they said that the procedure can be done in the surgery next to the waiting area. I requested if I could use the patient's facilities which was located downstairs, when I arrive back at the waiting room one of the staff on reception asked if I had a copy of my medication which I duly gave she also asked me to sign a form regarding the procedure that was going to be carried out. When the time came Linsey asked me to come in the surgery room and await Dr Iqbal who was with another patient at the time, eventually the time came to have the procedure once I was completely numb to remove the offending item that was requested by my dentist for removal, once that was done I was given instructions by Linsey in relation to the event of any bleeding or still in a lot of pain to get in touch with my normal dentist (during normal hours) or the emergency dentist (out of hours) currently so far majority of the suffering is being in severe pain but I was able to control the pain with the medication I am currently taken at the time. This was my first visit to this practice; was impressed by how the staff was able to rearrange the procedure from upstairs to the ground floor without any hesitation whatsoever to make the patient more comfortable. If my normal dentist refers me back to Dr Iqbal for other treatment that they cannot do, then I would be happy to go back and have the necessary treatment required.

Got referred here for wisdom tooth removal. They managed to get me a cancellation appointment. Was quick, easy & pain free. Would highly recommend.

My teeth were always my biggest insecurity. After having braces for years, and then getting my two front teeth knocked out only a couple of months after getting them off, I was back to square one. For years I refused to smile in photos and completely neglected my teeth.
I received treatment on my top 4 teeth and I could not be happier. Kyle was wonderful and talked me through everything he was doing so I always knew what was going on. I can't thank him enough and the whole team at Sandes Avenue were wonderful.
I feel confident smiling again!

First visit to the Sandes avenue dental practice and the service is brilliant. The practice itself was clean and nicely set out. The staff are lovely, greeting and helpful. The dentist was professional and friendly putting me at ease straight away. The dentist was knowledgeable and gave lots of helpful tips and information throughout the consultation. I’m sure my consultation over ran slightly but it didn’t feel rushed at all and I felt I had a thorough check. I would definitely recommend this wonderful practice.

Can not and will not fix my teeth. Payed the money to get nothing done. Charge for cancel an appointment when there lines are down and even emailed them. One of the worst dentist
