A well and truly dreadful experience today with my dentist its the fourth appointment this year I have had cancelled and the 3rd time whilst I was there on time to be told they couldn't see me for a further couple of hours made to feel like a criminal by the receptionist after speaking very politely to her saying I understood but please feel my frustrations as its the 4th appointment I have had to take time off work pay for parking in town only to be told at the time off appointment they had to cancel it.. the receptionist reason for not phoning me to let me know was they were short staffed. I cant ever imagine saying that to a customer of mine if i had to cancel an appointment you should always call your customers to tell them of any changes as its the right thing to do not wait until they arrive at your store, its by far the worst customer service experience i have ever had she really didnt care about my issues and couldnt get me out of the dentist quick enough in fact she asked me to leave i was only trying to explain to her my frustration with the cancelled appointments and not having a call from them made me feel really bad especially after the appointments that had already been cancelled by my dentist when i turned up at the correct time and date i repeat its my worst ever customer experience. I had paid for a white filling in December it fell out a week later and I have been trying to sort it out ever since.... the filling should have lasted at least 5 years.very quick to take my money awful service when something went wrong especially the last few months.

I have been a loyal customer over 10 years if not 15 years it really makes me sad to write this review but the receptionist you had in today was so bad I am never coming back to the dentist she really did make me feel like a criminal and didn't care how I felt

My previous experiences with this dental practise were very positive. However, when I went for my most recent check up I was told I needed fillings. Fine, dental decay is normal as you get older. I went for the second appointment to get the fillings on one side which went ok. For the third appointment they only booked me in for 45 min. They could only do 1 out of the remaining 3 fillings I needed which meant I had to go back for a 3rd time and have the injections in my mouth again. Why they couldn't have booked me in for an extra 45 min and get it all done in one appointment I dont understand. The injections and procedure are unpleasant so to have to go through it again is poor patient care imo. I also had to book time off work again due to their poor organisation. For the 4th appointment they had a new dentist who didn't want to do the fillings and instead wanted to take xrays again. What happened to the xray images they took previously? I again had to book a day of work for the another appointment and was unnecessarily exposed to xrays again. Makes me wonder if my files and personal information are secure... Booked in for an appointment a month later and the day before I receive a text message (after being reminded twice by email about my appointment) that my appointment has been cancelled. *Update appointment was rebooked for the same time and date after ringing practise.

Can never get hold of them in the past 2 days I've phoned over 200 times to speak to someone but it's like the can't be bothered to answer the phone or they leave the phone off the hook. Keeps saying leave a message and someone will ring you back do they though? Cause they can't be bothered to answer the phone or answer emails. Absolutely shocking.

Between December 2021 and August 2022 this dentist cancelled my appointment four times - once when I was on a bus en route and once when I was in front of the receptionist. Obviously unforeseen reasons happen but I nearly lost a tooth because of these cancellations. The most offensive experience though was the face to face encounter with the American receptionist - shockingly nasty and I mean REALLY nasty. I turned up for my appointment and spoke to her in a very friendly and courteous manner. She told me there were no appointments due to a technical issue and when I expressed my concern that yet another appointment had been cancelled - this time after I'd arrived - and how concerned I was about the tooth she reacted in the most offensive and hostile manner imaginable. I sat there in a state of shock after failing to explain my concerns about my tooth as she kept on - with a gleeful look - tapping the "zero tolerance" sign. I asked her not to speak to me as I waited to speak with a more civil member of staff and she went on and on and even started bad mouthing me TO the dentist who came to speak to me about my concerns in front of me! Truly the worst experience I've ever had with a receptionist in a medical setting and completely unjustified. All I wanted was a dentist to look at the tooth that day as obviously with technical problems I knew treatment couldn't happen. Serena the dentist examined me and put my mind at rest that the tooth could be saved. She was also very sympathetic when I told her I didn't need any additional stress (or sought any) as my mum was very unwell and actually died before my next appointment in early October. I really hope something is done about this receptionist - she's a disgrace and should not be working with members of the public. She has no people skills at all and seems unable to control herself or the way she speaks to patients.

Be careful. The receptionist is dangerously incompetent. My appointment with the dentist for an NHS perio treatment was cancelled because the suction was not working. I called to rearrange and instead she booked me with the privet hygienist. I missed an important meeting to receive a treatment I didn’t sign up for (when I booked the receptionist told me that the only available appointment was on 6 December or in March!!!), not to mention that I had to pay £48 for it whilst on maternity leave. When I told the receptionist that I was supposed to see the dentist and that there was a mistake with the booking, she told me that they don’t make mistakes with the appointments. Very inappropriate! I am really disappointed.

Attended this dentist for over 10 years. They are professional, polite and helpful. They are also great with my kids. No complaints.

Messed up my teeth. They weren't very accommodating and treated me like a number. An in and out job and not very professional, i am a nervous patient and when i was in the chair they were fumbling around looking for things they should have had ready.
