Bridge End Dental Practice

Not a good experience. Practice seems over rated. Had to seek a second opinion as dentist gave me two options - either an extraction or else referral to a specialist for root canal treatment which would have set me back ££££'s. Fortunately I still have my tooth and my money! Prefer a modern practice but must admit this one is friendly and the senior dentist excellent in all respects.

Treated appallingly. Grace refered me for an extraction to the hospital 6 months earlier as she said she couldn’t remove my problem wisdom tooth. 3 courses of antibiotics and 6 months of terrible pain and overdosing on painkillers later, I decide to chase up the appointment myself. Only to find the hospital hadn’t received a referral! I was told the whole process would have to start again. Pain got so bad that I was climbing the walls. Took myself to A and E to find a 9 hr waiting time. So went back to Bridge End in desperation to see if they could help me. Got told by a new dentist that there was nothing they could do as I was in so much pain!!! More antibiotics and appointment set in nearly 3 weeks time to attempt to pull the tooth out. That was the earliest they could get me in. Went home, crying out and screaming in pain. Husband phones them to be fobbed off again to say there was nothing they could do.
Thank god my step father is a retired dentist. Within 12 hours he got me an appointment at his old practise. 10 mins later the tooth was extracted. The nerve was completely exposed as the tooth had broken down so much. He said that antibiotics wouldn’t have touched the pain.
Why could Bridge End not have done the same for me? Totally let down and treated appallingly. Not once did the practise owner even look at me to see if he could help. Have they heard of overtime? Maybe in certain cases they should stay behind to help. That’s what I do with my business.
Taken my business to the practise that helped me out.
The practise is shabby and the staff turn over quickly. The dental nurses were lovely but that didn’t help my situation at the time.

Dr Horton has the highest qualifications in dentistry and the treatment I have had covering, bridges, root canal and fillings over the years have been
excellent. Highly recommended.

I have always received a warm welcome and good treatment at Bridge End Dental Practise. Despite the current circumstances the practice has dealt quickly and professionally with any issues I have had and Im grateful my latest issue is going to be sorted despite the risk of Covid.

I messaged them on Monday morning explaining that my Mum was suffering with a lot of pain when she was eating due to the side effects of her chemotherapy. Within minutes the team had offered her an appointment in the afternoon and Dr Berrisford could not have been more kind. Mum is now free of pain when she is eating. Went to Bridge End Dental Practice recently and was extremely happy with the level of care and service I received. Dr Berrisford is very patient and knowledgeable and I will definitely return for future appointments. Would recommend to anyone looking for a dentist.

The staff are so amazing and gentle I would recommend to anyone absolute professional at their best and take so much care in providing a service with your pain and interest.
