Mydentist, Nolton Street, Bridgend

Today i had a tooth taken out.... well... half taken out!!! And I am now in more agony than I was in before.

Within half an hour of leaving the dentist the pain started coming back with a vengeance. I'm not sure what the dentist has done, but he has left half of my tooth still in and I am in even more agony than before.

I tried to call the surgery this evening to get some advice after todays events, and I called at 16.45. After being number 2 in the queue for 20 minutes, I then get a message telling me the surgery has shut, even though it doesn't shut until 5.30. Clearly the lines are being pulled at about 5.10pm, and this to me is disgraceful.

Update- they also do not open at 8am! The times are completely wrong.

I haven't had a check up since before covid, despite making several appointments (which are always months away), they are always cancelled at the last minute - either by letter or text. And the whole cycle starts again of waiting maybe 2 months just for the appointment to be cancelled. I definitely need a hygienist appointment but this has been cancelled also.

Terrible practice. My daughter required a filling in April, wasn’t done there and then due to not enough time.
She has had to wait 4 months for the next appointment (which was today). Now due to the the length of time between appointments she needs to have the tooth extracted! Despite saying this needs to be done ‘as soon as possible’ the next available appointment is in another 6 weeks time!
To add to our dissatisfaction, we were on hold 1 hour 20 minutes!

This was a very good dentist,but no more.
I tried ringing them yesterday, although number 1 in queue I gave up after 30 minutes. I left my phone number as requested for a call back. Still waiting.

2 month waiting time for an appointment only to be cancelled the week before. happened 4 times now. no replacement appointment just try again. poor kids teeth are bleeding and getting worse every day.

Why am I always 9th or 10th in the call queue when I phone? (once I waited for 20 minutes and went from 9th to 6th before I gave up).

When I am sat in the surgery waiting for an appointment the receptionist is rarely busy.

I am extremely upset with this practice. The NHS dentist and nurse are extremely rude and treat their patients in an abusive manner. Do not go to this dentist practice unless you wished to be judged and bullied about the problem you are having with your teeth. I have never been so disgusted in my life. Your job is to help people, not to abuse people.

This dental practice does not even deserve 1 star! Very disappointed with my experience today waiting around for over 20 minutes to see a dentist whilst I could hear them all laughing and joking around (including the dental technician who was going to be seeing me) I was the in the room with him for about 4 minutes where he hardly even looked at my teeth and didn’t tell me whether it was all good or not good. Then gave me a X ray which I did not give consent for which I was then charged for! Waited months for that appointment after being cancelled on several times! Absolutely joke and waste of time and money!!
