My wife had the worse experience of her life with the dentist today 12/06/2016. I will NOT recommend the dentist today on duty (I wish I know the name of that person). Being a doctor, one should be kind to others.

I've been going to the dentist for years how and they are always very helpful and happy to answer any questions I have includeding showing me moulds of my teeth and my xrays. Theyre also open on Saturdays which is a huge bonus as someone who finds it hard to take time off work.

Dentist is absolutely lovely. Really excellent service. So nice, honestly. Helped me with so many problems. And price is really reasonable. Totally recommend going.

My son had an emergency appointment on Sunday at this practice.. we had to travel over 20 miles in storm weather to this appointment which I felt completely necessary as my son had already been in severe pain for 2 days... he has been suffering with gingervitus for few months... on the Friday he woke up in agony and a mouth full of blood.. so Sunday we made our way to the practice with that being the only appointment he could get. My son suffers with aspergers syndrome and has poor social skills and extreme anxiety.. when we arrived there was someone shouting having a tooth extracted which sent my son's anxiety through the roof.. I reassured him I would come in with him. However the dentist would not allow me in room in case of needing to do an x-ray. I thought this was wrong as I always go to appointments with my children and leave the room if an x-ray is needed.
However I didn't make a fuss. My son came out eyes welled clearly in lots of pain so I went to pay for the visit. The dentist came out and explained in front of a young receptionist and other patients in a tiny waiting room that my son had severe gum disease and was likely to lose his teeth in next few years. My son was mortified and embarrassed as a woman waiting raised her eyebrows.. I was angry at the level of confidentiality and lack of professionalism. I paid and grabbed the prescription as the dentist continued to say he needs to see a hygienist asap as the infection is so bad. I left thinking that I had a prescription for antibiotics that would aid the fight of infection while I found him a hygienist the following day. But no... it was for mouthwash that he has been using last few days anyway.
My son was in tears as he has lived on ibrupophen and pain killers for 3 days. So following morning his mouth was filled with blood clots and he was in agony so I got him a doctor's appointment... the doctor said they were surprised he hasn't been given antibiotics with the state his mouth was in.. However the doctor could not prescribe for dental issues.. so he was given stronger pain killers.. today I rang the dental practice in hope to speak to the dentist and hope that he would fax a prescription.. But I was told by a blunt receptionist that no I can't speak with him and would have to go through 111 again... I tried to explain and she became more blunt stating the doctor is not qualified to make a decision and should not of told me he needed antibiotics and to phone 111 she was not interested in listening now I'm left concerned that my son is going to get sepsis due to the fact I know have to wait another 2 days to get him to another emergency dentist.
The whole experience wait this practice was awful so I do not recommend this place unless it was for a simple routine check up or procedure!

Went for an emergency appointment and was told after 30 seconds looking in my mouth that it was bone showing when I proceed to explain how my tooth was removed I got called a liar and I didn't know what I was talking about, and to top it of it turned out it was a piece of tooth from a wisdom extraction and I wasn't lying, would not recommend this practice what so ever lack of care and communication

WARNING: This dentist received a warning from the General Dental Council, avoid this place if you can - and get checked by another dentist, and make sure you get an x-ray. I wish I knew that years ago, I would have avoided so much pain and distress.

I spent Christmas Eve here due to having the worst toothache ever! The dentist that was on yesterday managed to find the cause of my pain; a failed attempt at a temp filling that needed to be to the root but was left open and exposed! I left the practice in more pain than I arrived in, however, after about three hours I was completely pain free and haven’t had any pain since!!

Thank you to the dentist that was on yesterday, and thank you to his nurse who held my hand whilst I had the completely painless injection!

Merry Christmas to you both and thank you for fixing my tooth!
