Glynneath Dental Practice

After many years of not being able to attend a dentist , I had a call from the practice to book in for a check up.
The whole team were welcoming and very professional and made me feel a very valued customer.
They talked me through everything they were doing and arranged further appointments around my busy work schedule.

A superb dental practice with superb customer care and service. The staff are welcoming, reassuring, friendly and helpful. Always ready to greet you with a smile. My own practitioner, Dr Dharminy Martin can only be described as highly professional, meticulous and caring. Her attention to her patient needs and satisfaction are foremost on her agenda. I consider myself fortunate to have access to her services as a dentist.

Good dentist run by incompetent staff it seems; over two years ago they removed me from their NHS register because the receptionist wrote down the wrong date on my appointment card. I arrived early on the date and time as written, I even challenged this by returning within minutes with the card to prove it was the receptionist's error. I was told to appeal with the manager which turned out to be completely pointless as you can guess.

These last few weeks I received 2/3 email invitations to make an appointment thinking maybe perhaps someone seen the error so I made an appointment only to be told later that I'm not registered and the email's sent were in error, but I can pay for treatment if I like!?

It's not even about the money it was the principle of the matter, I was made to feel like a liar even though I had the evidence to prove that it was just a simple mistake made by the receptionist.

What a fantastic bunch of staff. Firstly accepting me as an emergency even though I’m not with the practice, then moving my appointment 3 days earlier and fitting me in their busy time because I was worrried my symptoms had progressed. Being an extremely anxious person at the dentist and will only go if desperately needed …the dentist and nurse were so friendly, welcoming and putting me at ease with my worries and even giving me a tissue to wipe up my tears. Absolute amazing and even though suffer anxiety I have booked for another appointment with them.

My first visit here today as a private patient , I have been treated really well and kind , it's worth every penny to look after your teeth properly . Thank-you to all staff for making me feel at ease as an anxious patient .

I moved to Glynneath from another dental practice as I was very unhappy with service. I am so glad I did. The staff in Glynneath are so friendly and very professional. They also don’t cancel appointments. My little boy attended for his check up today for his first ever dental appointment. Imogen was so lovely with him and put him at ease. As a family we highly recommend Glynneath dental practice.

Excellent service, staff very polite. Dentist extremely thorough. Surgery very clean & not kept waiting for appointment. Answer the phone & try to help/give assistance where they can. Very pleased with the treatment that I’ve had as a temporary patient, only wish I could get a permanent position. Have a lovely Christmas & see you in the New Year 👍🏻

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!! If you’re an NHS patient they’ll treat you poorly. Most of the locals that can drive go somewhere else, I truly feel sorry for those who have to rely on this place.
The manager in this place is rude and arrogant and I’m surprised the owner of this place hasn’t got rid of him.
I can see on here I’m not the “only one” that thinks this and have had the same experience.
Something should be done!!
P.S if you truly care about your teeth I advise you to stay away.
