My wife was having trouble with a molar and was told she may need to have a root canal treatment. When we went to the practice my wife was told that the root canal was not possible as we were to fly to Mexico in a few days. My wife declined the option of extraction.
We related this to a dentist in Mexico, who said that that many dentists took the easier option; he went on to do an almost painless root canal job. Over a year on and no problems.

Other than that, we found that the practice was highly professional.

Had the most awful experience here. Came for emergency appointment to have a filling on a broken tooth. The female dentist (Indian) administered local anesthetic without describing what work she intended to do. After the injection, she told me the whole tooth should be extracted. I had no pain before and so I challenged this. She called a colleague for a second opinion and her colleague said the tooth should be saved. The Indian woman then proceeded to rush to finish the filling, reluctantly, still saying the tooth should be pulled. A year later and the filling she did has fallen out. I came to a new (decent) dentist in Bournemouth who tells me the filling was done very poorly indeed and needed redoing (120pounds)
While completing my filling In a hurry, the dentist at herbranston was rude and called the receptionist into the room, saying she would be late to collect her children and would they pass the message on to her husband. This is not what a private patient who is paying the top rates, should be subjected to. I refused to pay for the awful work that she did but I still had to pay £30 for the emergency appointment. I would never go back here again and I advise others to find an alternative practise who would look after you, rather than trying to convince you that you need extra dental work. This awful dentist was rushed and has given me a very poor filling that needs to be redone within a year...and I paid for that service. Rude and unprofessioal, money seeking. Do not care. A tooth should always be saved where possible, there is a risk of infection after an extraction. Why expose me to that risk?

Would like to leave a review and to thank Dentist Babar and Nurse Tina who were lovely. They took lots of time to explain everything in great detail, and to reassure me, a nervous patient and Bab tried to save my fractured tooth which unfortunately was found to be beyond repair and required extraction in the end. Recommend Bab to anyone afraid of the dentist!

I chose this dental practice after a Google search on anxious dental patients and after reading reviews and communication with my Dentist Mark I booked my first appointment.

My initial appointment was in the Narberth practice and my initial impressions were good, friendly staff and had a thorough consultation where treatment for me was made clear as well as the costs involved.

I have had a further two appointments at the Herbrandston practice which is in beautiful rural surroundings and as before has lovely, warm and friendly staff. Mark is easy to talk too, understands a patients needs and my anxieties are treated with respect and I felt like I'm being understood and cared for accordingly.

On my last visit I took a walk through the carpark to have a look at the animals and listen to the cacophony of the Rooks nesting in the trees overhead as well as trying to look for some frogs in the little pond there, I definitely felt more relaxed prior to my appointment!

I would recommend Herbrandston Dental practice (Narberth or Herbrandston) for anyone considering a professional, understanding and friendly dentist, this one won't disappoint.

I have been attending Herbrandston Dental practice since the day it opened. I can honestly say they are on the of best Dentists in Pembrokeshire / Wales!!

The Staff are extremely professional and have all the knowledge.

I have never had an issue with my teeth and they 110% much better than your NHS Dentist. I disagree with any negative reviews - This dental practice knows how to look after their patients and provide top class treatment! I would recommend anyone looking to change their dentist to give these guys a call! Keep up the good work all!

I had a molar implant and root canal done. The treatment I received was excellent. The dentists actually take the time to explain the procedures. When I have a checkup with Mark, it's not, as with the previous dentists I have seen, a two minute job. Mark is the only dentist I have visited who takes the time to check neck lymph nodes.

Fantastic dental practice, Mark was extremely professional, and my new teeth look amazing. Friendly atmosphere , lovely dental nurse to put you at ease! I feel off my bike and needed full front implants, it takes time but worth it. thank you Mark x

The quality of dentistry is excellent; expensive but definitely a case of getting what you pay for. Unfortunately they are let down by very poor customer service by their practice manager - being in customer service myself I felt sickened by their attitude which was completely unsuitable in this day and age. Arrogant and unfair - disappointing as we were very happy otherwise.

*In response to the below* - It is not the fee amount that is the issue, It had been agreed that a text message would be sent to a specified telephone number, which did not happen. we paid the fee, but just expect to have some acknowledgement of fault as upon agreeing to the request, you became responsible to fulfil it, which you did not. We have spent four digits over the last 12 months and would continue to come - it is the attitude that is the problem - not come across arrogance like it from a local company. No reminders received either - but they know best. Happy to pay the fee, to say that that is the issue is utter tosh.
