Bupa Dental Care Barrow in Furness

Great service from start to finish , all the staff are so friendly and put your mind at ease. They have been fantastic with my partner and my son who was very nervous to go to the dentist.

I called Bupa dental Barrow with discomfort in one of my teeth & the lovely receptionist managed to rearrange some appointments to accommodate me. She really went above & beyond to help me because now I am pain free. So thank you to the lovely reception manager (didn’t catch her name).

Lorretta carried out the procedure which she explained step by step which really put me at ease. Lorretta is very professional & very knowledgeable & can tell she loves her job & cares about her patients. She such a gorgeous human being! Inside & out.

Thank you also to the lovely dental assistant who worked alongside Lorretta (also didn’t catch your name) you both work really well together.

Surprisingly I’m looking forward to my next visit! Which I didn’t think I would ever say considering I normally dislike dentists haha. But the Barrow team were just fantastic. Thank you all so much! Keep up the good work xxx

This review is based on my own experience and true facts in October 2022. I was visiting the area from London and had an emergency appointment arranged with Bupa barrow in Furness. The surgery has only one dentist at the moment and I was so impressed with the help and service from the manager and dentist. I had a lot of pain in my gums which caused severe headaches the manager of the practice Joanne was very helpful and arranged my appointment with the dentist and made sure the after care from the treatment was followed up. Joanne went the extra mile in arranging this for me though the practice even though they were fully booked and it was so hard to get an appointment for my emergency treatment which I’m very grateful. The staff at the practice are all very good and they do their best. I would like to say a big thank you to my dentist Maria de loreto a lovely lady who really did her best to get me out of pain. Maria has a lot of experience within the industry I found her to be professional and very knowledgeable which is very important. I would like to say thank you so much for getting me out of my pain which was so severe and in doing the treatment which was a big task. Maria is a great dentist and she makes you feel warm and welcome much appreciated. I wish everyone at Bupa barrow in Furness the best for the future.

A very positive experience due to the friendliness of all staff and the professionalism of the dentist who was excellent at making sure I had all the information I needed regarding my treatment.

Having been terrified of going to the dentist all my life, Today, I came out of my appointment a new person. Natalie the dental receptionist immediately put me at ease and supported me with an emergency appointment. The dentist was so lovely, patient, and kind, she explained everything she would do and why. I had X-rays and was shown the results. A treatment plan with suggestions that would help me going forward was sorted. Thank you for a really great experience.

From entering the dental practice I was made to feel at ease by the very relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff on duty. Once I entered the treatment room feeling very nervous, the lady carrying out my filling was amazing, very calm warm approach towards myself, explaining my treatment every step of the way, I felt no pain whatsoever, thanks to her and her super assistant I was pain free from my very large required filling. I was in a lot of pain with toothache. I was promptly given an emergency appointment for that morning. The receptionists, nurse and dentist were all very kind and courteous and I felt at ease. My treatment plan was well explained to me also. I would have no qualms in recommending this practice to others. Thankyou all very much.
