Calder Dental Practice

I've just found out, through all the noise being made in their reception, from a receptionist that was clearly lacking any care (or manners) that I am no longer a patient of this practice due to having not been seen since 2019. Nor would I be allowed to re-register with them. The funny thing is my next routine appointment was cancelled by the practice due to COVID. They did send me a text inviting me to call and make an appointment sometime in 2021, but when I did call, I was told the text was generated automatically and they don't do routine check ups. Now they're using their own failings to deregister me and deny care when I do have problem.

Got seen slightly earlier than my appointment which was nice but before I knew it it was over. £23.80 for an appointment that took less than 2 minutes is ridiculous. I mentioned a problem I've been having but other than getting me to open and close my jaw nothing was done, just off you go since it's not causing pain. It's like they don't want you there

Just wanted to share my wonderful experience with the treatment I received today whilst having a filling.
I was greeted very warmly with staff behind the desk as always... always happy to help. When I have telephoned recently, everyone has always been so helpful.
I was treated by the dentist Mehreem and the dental nurse Maryam who were exceptional.
My treatment was excellent and very professional. The dentist went through every step with me and explained what I needed doing to make my tooth right. I had full confidence in her care towards me, the way she explained everything- this truly did allow me to put my faith in her work. Both ladies did a fantastic job.
I am booked in for a few weeks for more work doing.
I have full praise for this practice.

i called them to make an appointment,the receptionist was really rude, she said you are not registered anymore, i was surprised, i requested her to re-register me, she said i cannot register you we are full, on the mean time she said we can see you Privately which £65 check-up fee, the same dentist can check privately but not NHS patients, they will ignore you if you are paying less, don't go there⚠️⚠️

Absolutely disappointed In this practice, rang for appointment and the Nathan answered,yes there is an appointment, explained what the appointment was for ,he then asked for £180 upfront,and that was paid , when asked what the payment was for ,he replied it's to put the cap back in and there maybe further small payments, at no point did he inform me this was the cost of the appointment, spoke to the manager about why was I not charged for a normal appointment £72.00 , I was told the practice manager would look into it , low and behold,guess who rang me ??? Yes Nathan, and his attitude was your not getting a refund,So what are you wanting!!!!!!! Wonderful customer service, I think not

I Found this Dental practice very good.and they went out of their way to help me with my tooth so I could have a lovely photo for my 6oth Birthday.I would fully recommend this Dentist very nice and lovely service.

Very good and professional I don't like dentist but they put me at ease no problems

I had a brilliant experience , if going to a dentist surgery can ever be called brilliant! I returned from a long stay abroad in need of a full set of dentures.
All the staff were lovely, welcoming and professional, from the receptionists to the dentist herself.
I received first class treatment , appointment times were pretty much adhered to and the dentures are a lovely fit.
