Barbara Castle Way Health Centre - Dental Department

My first experience with this dental practice. Booked emergency appointment as my tooth cracked. Got in, been seen by the dentist, only to be told that it can wait another month to be done!
Not happy with this service. Thiny, cluttered room, and dentist was more focused of explaining trainees how to use computer system than me, as a patient. Gloves wasn't worn by dentist either, so maybe it's better that I didn't received any treatment at all.
Not recommending.

Got refereed here from my orthodontist, receptionists were very abrupt and rude; service was of poor standard; was treated with no dignity or respect, would not recommend this dental surgery at all, would rather spend you're money elsewhere.

Tooth extraction. Relatively pain free. Highly recommended.

I was sent here as I had no NHS Dentist as I was in pain with one of my lower teeth.
Firstly the Dentist, I found him abrupt and blunt, as I am nervous of having any Dental work I explained this to the Dentist hoping that he would put me at ease because I needed an Extraction.
He did not put me at ease but the Dental Nurse tried to.
The following week's After the Extraction it became apparent that he had left some of the Root in my gum which was causing me some discomfort and pain when eating.
I have since found a great Dentist and he has removed the Root that I have had to pay for twice now.
In my opinion do not go to this Abrupt and uncaring so called Dentist or as I now call him the Butcher of Blackburn.

Referred here by my dentist and I have to say never been to a better place! All the one star reviews are clearly critically judgmental I would highly recommend my dentist to anyone :)

Rebecca (dentist) and Linda (dental nurse) were amazing my husband needed to have teeth out and he suffers with anxiety and they made him feel relaxed . I've also seen these 2 loverly ladies and we both see compassion and see that to them they care about their patients ,it's not just a job to then . Thank you so much

DISGUSTING!!! Let’s put it this way, I’m unfortunately having to take my issues with this “dentist” to a solicitor. due to bad practice, neglect and only doing half a job. It was some years ago I attended this place and unfortunately for me the issues have only just come to light. My opinion, if you’ve recently been, go and get a second opinion and X-rays. You won’t believe what you’ll be told! My story is too private to go public with, but I’ll make sure this place is closed down now for sure!

I've been having problems with a painful tooth and a massive abscess that I've seen 2 emergency dentist with 2 cources of antibiotics later I attended the emergency dentist here today, I have never met such a rude arrogant bully in my life as this dentist today. He would not let me explain about the abcess or the 2 cources of antibiotics stopped me mid sentence told me to start again with my symptoms, I tried again where he stopped me so I tried again stopped me again I hardly said 4 words each time he told me I'm not having a dental plan and not interested in anything any other dentist advised me to tell the dentist, he told me I was messing about 2 professional workers so I stood out of the dentist chair when he said he's refusing to treat me and get a refund on my way past reception. This so called professional dentist has traumatised me and I was upset for many weeks, I have never been spoke to and dismissed like something he stood in before. What a shocking bully a man like that will never make me cry again, he belongs in Gilead!
