I was incredibly apprehensive prior to the extraction of a broken tooth last year, and Hema was fantastically reassuring and explained the entire procedure to me. It is a pleasure to have her as my dentist, and I would recommend her and Hemel Smile Studios to anybody anxious about routine check-ups or more complex dental procedures. Thank you!

I have always gone to see dr. Limani who is amazing; I give him 5 stars and will miss him as my dentist. This review is not a reflection on him as a dentist. He is very kind and is great at his job.

But the reception and administration for this dentist have treated me very poorly in my time of need.

I had a bad and traumatic accident where I’ve broken my jaw in two places. I really needed to see a dentist for my tooth trauma but they advised me my dentist was on holiday for two weeks. I thought it was odd they didn’t just offer me to see someone else considering my situation. I asked to see someone else and they had to check if that was ok first, this was obviously distressing to me that they were happy for me to wait just because my dentist is on holiday? The soonest I could see another dentist was a weeks time, and they would take a £65 deposit from me, I asked if I could get the deposit back if I found somewhere else to see me sooner and they told me that would be fine.

I found another dentist who would see me that same day so I went and started to get the help I need elsewhere. I rang back the next day to cancel my appointment and they asked me why, so I explained again what happened, put me on hold…
I then get told that my deposit would be transferred to my upcoming hygienist appointment, I’ve been getting hygienist appointments every 3 months at this dentist without paying a deposit. I just said I want my money back and they were making it difficult for me in my already difficult time.

I’m now waiting for my cheque to arrive and it’s been nearly 2 weeks. I asked if I could just have it transferred back to me and they said it’s against company policy.

I think the receptionist team could have been a bit more understanding and compassionate towards my situation from the start. I have my jaw banded shut and I’m in a lot of pain, it’s already very difficult to talk and the team really didn’t treat me well. I have found another dentist who sees me alongside a maxillofacial surgeon who charge me way less and help me very quickly.

I miss my dentist but the way the company is run and with no compassion to each situation is really distressing.

I have been at the Hemel Smile Studios for two years and I’ve never had an issue like this.

I think you could have been more compassionate and been better at communicating throughout the process considering unique situations.

Pretty poor service. Receptionists were clueless when booking the appointment but I didn’t judge and continued anyway. Saw dr shah for a private paid for Invisalign consultation on a Friday he told me I would receive the plan on the Saturday/ Sunday. I received an email on Sunday saying it was attached IT WASNT so I replied instantly telling him this I did not get a reply for a further 3 days (Wednesday) saying sorry for the mistake and it would be re sent that same evening. IT WASNT so I chased again and received no response. What an absolute scam and waste of money. Totally unprofessional.

Saw Miriam for the first time and she was excellent, as was the dental nurse helping. Very reasonable prices and managed a same day appointment as I was in a lot of pain. Highly recommended practice. Many thanks. Will continue to use smiles as my go to teeth repairer!

Always had excellent care from Smile. The reception staff are helpful, empathetic and friendly. I appreciate Nilesh's enthusiasm for his profession, his ability to communicate what needs to be done - explaining any choices and always giving me time to decide.

Extremely efficient staff and dentists all have such pleasant manners . I drive from my new address just to stay at their practice as they are excellent .

I was in my fourties when I finally decided to go for an orthodontic treatment to align my front tooth and install a bridge at the place of missing tooth. Obviously, I was nervous. My case was complicated as I got an impacted K9 tooth. Dr.Shah at Hemel Smile was fantastic. He explained the treatment plan to me and reassured me of every step of the journey. I got my smile back and worth all the effort. Very grateful to Dr. Shah and the Hemel Smile team.
