The Limes Dental Practice

As someone who did not have very positive previous experiences of the dentist (and as someone who left visiting the dentist far too long as a result), I can only highly praise the team at the Limes Dental Practice. In particular, Dr David Stephens & hygienist Lisa Gibbs - who were both very understanding of my initial concerns and reticence. They have been thorough, professional and also very constructive for advice going forwards. Excellent team and practice, and as a former fearer of dental work - I genuinely highly recommend.

To say I was terrified of the dentist was an understatement. I hadn’t been for years after a bad experience, so I was worried my teeth were in an absolute state. But after having excruciating wisdom tooth pain for a whole year, I opted to visit The Limes. Straight away, I felt as if I had nothing to worry about and after having an extraction I was dreading, I came out feeling as if I’d conquered Everest. It’s simply because I was made to feel in total control, not as if I was being stupid for worrying. I’ve just visited this morning for my 3rd appointment, in which my heart didn’t jump out of my chest with worry. I’m totally comfortable at the dentist now, and I don’t think I’ll ever worry about treatment again. I’m unbelievably grateful to all staff, especially David, for helping me. If you’re looking for a friendly service, and especially if you’re nervous, I’d highly recommend these lovely people. 5 stars from me!!!

A brilliant practice with professional and friendly staff. Excellent treatment including the insertion of two crowns using up to date image technology - all made and put in place on the same day! Great care and attention to detail ensures the crowns fit perfectly. Really happy with the results.

I’ve been going to Limes now for approximately 5 years.
I would highly recommend them for dental care. Nobody loves the dentist, but these guys make it pretty good and they do care.

I had a wisdom tooth extraction yesterday at Limes and everything went way better than I expected. My tooth was only partially erupted, infected and had grown at a weird angle so was definitley more than a routine exraction. I was dreading it going in but I felt no pain and more surprisingly I didn't even feel it come out, before I knew it everything was done and I was gearing up to go home. I've not had great experiences with dentists in the past, for one reason or another but I'm happy I've found Limes now and my new permanent dentist.

Thanks to everyone at Limes, especially Dr. Connolly and the dental nurse yesterday (sorry I didn't catch the name) for putting me at ease despite no doubt looking white as a sheet!

Dr Andrew Connolly has quite literally changed my life! I have struggled for years to receive dental work of a reasonable standard and price that I could afford and he has gone above and beyond to help me achieve the smile of my dreams, everyone at the practice were so friendly and helpful and I'm eternally grateful I found them! :) :)

Amazing dental practice. An Incredibly kind and welcoming team from the moment you walk through the door.
I was seen by the Dentist David and the Hygienist Lisa and both were very impressive. The practice takes a preventative approach to dentistry and spend a lot of time explaining everything they are doing during your appointment. Their main concern is helping you care for your teeth in the best way, and left both appointments feeling like a new more about my teeth than before.

After having problems at my previous dentist I was so nervous about going back to the dentist, but I love it at Limes it’s the “spa” of dentists. I always feel welcome, relaxed and made to feel at ease. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. They really listen to your concerns and talk you through everything, constantly making sure you are happy. Everything is really clear, they are thorough and you really feel taken care of. They don’t just book you in for things unnecessarily, if they don’t feel you need a hygienist appointment they will tell you so. They have a great dental plan in place too. I’ve always been able to get an appointment very quickly when I’ve needed it. Pip is fantastic and is really the voice and face of Limes and David my dentist is so friendly and instantly puts you at ease. I’m very relieved to not be so nervous going to the dentist anymore.
