Weston Park Dental Surgeons

I have had excellent dental service from this practice for nearly forty years. Their particular approach is to watch and note concerns. They don’t leap in whenever they notice anything. Rather they deal with issues when they judge the time is right, and using minimum intervention. One of my earliest visits was when a cap fitted in another country fell out while I was teaching a class - great fun for my pupils. At lunchtime I went to the practice hoping for an early appointment thinking I would be lucky to have one in a couple of weeks. In two minutes I was shown into my regular dentist’s surgery. He asked me where the cap was. I had it in my pocket, so he treated it and put it back in place where it has done its job for another thirty years. The whole thing took about twenty five minutes, about twenty of which were spent getting to and from the surgery. They are also very careful over other issues affecting my general health and they always ask about significant changes to my regular medication. Their reception staff are always warm and welcoming. I am retired so it suits me and the practice I expect, to have my appointments at times when demand is lowest - for example during the middle of the day, not in school time or in school holidays. However I used to be a teacher so I always take notice when children do occasionally appear. Judging from the number of children I have seen looking quite pleased to be there, they must be good with children.

I've been a patient at Weston Park surgery for 20+ years. Like a lot of others, I suspect, I'd had horrible experiences at the dentist as a child, so was definitely a nervous patient. Dr Panassar is patient, and quietly reassuring. The other staff are lovely and all seem to have worked here for almost as long as I have been on their lists - which strongly suggests that this is a good, happy place to work, and that feeds through into the standard of care.

I’ve been attending this dental surgery for many years. Reception staff are lovely. Mr Lee, the hygienist is very thorough with his cleaning . Dr Babar is my dentist and is always very pleasant, professional and quick in his work. Happy to recommend.

This is a great dental practice. Dr McCarney is very knowledgeable and thoughtful about her advice to each family member and really listens. She wisely sent me back to an orthodontist to question whether a 4 tooth extraction which had been recommended for my daughter was necessary. She was proved right in the end and I am grateful to her. The reception staff are always very friendly and helpful as well which is important. You get the sense the practice work well together as a team.

The staff here are excellent, starting with the receptionists Marilyn and Anna, they always go the extra mile for you.
Dr Grant has been my dentist since she started her career here and has always provided me with a professional service and is also very nice person.
Mr Lee is the hygienist who keeps my teeth super clean and I can't fault his professionalism.
This is a lovely dental surgery and I highly recommend it.

Brilliant practice! I have been going for years and before that I kept changing dentists. I had a crown, root canal treatment and fillings done and always felt totally satisfied. Dr McCarney and Mr Lee are absolutely brilliant! patient, considerate and always take their time to go through things with you and answer any questions you may have. The reception staff are also friendly and very professional. I always recommend the practice to friends and family and those that have been have also been raving about it.
