Anita made me feel so relaxed, I had an x-ray and she explained everything to me in so much detail. I can't believe how scared I was before, I left feeling so happy and I can't thank her enough for being so understanding.
I would recommend Anita and her practice to everyone.
I tried contacting many private dentists from Harlow to Harley St .
I wanted the retaining tooth ( implant) tightened
All I got was ‘ we won’t touch it as you had the work done in the USA’
One day purely by chance as I was riding my bicycle I passed VISTARA dental practice.
I was greeted by a lovely lady on reception by the name
Of Millie who was absolutely kind polite and very professional
I explained my situation she popped in to ask
Anita ( the owner , surgeon , dentist a question
I was enquiring about , Anita came out personally and said she will do the job the following day .
I cannot find word to describe how brilliant this dentist was ( flawless is the only word I can think off )
Not only did she fix my problem
I now have my smile back , the place is immaculate,
I cannot recommenced this place enough
More than reasonably priced ,
Now registered with them ,
I booked an appointment online with the hygienist and dentist check up and received a confirmation that it was all booked. 2 days prior to the appointment, they called me to change my appointment as the hygienist was only working 2 days a week (and not on the day I had booked), which I thought was strange since my appointment had been confirmed weeks ago, so not sure why I was not made aware of this before, but I booked in for the next day nonetheless.
I went the next day, in the middle of my work day, as it normally takes less than an hour. I arrived right on time and had to wait for over 30 minutes. The receptionist apologised for the wait after 15 min, without letting me know why it was so long. I had to ask her, and she said it was a previous patient that delayed the schedule - why not tell me when I got in? Or try calling me to let me know they were running 30 min late?
I finally got taken in; the hygienist did a really good job and was super nice.
I expected to see the dentist after, but I was just taken back to the front to pay for the clean. It was already really late because of the wait, so I didn’t question it and thought I’d just call in on another day to see the dentist.
Today, the original day of my appointment, I get a call telling me I missed my appointment with the dentist. I was super confused because it was not clear at all that they only moved the hygienist part of the appointment and kept the dentist check up. Why would I come on 2 separate days to have my teeth cleaned and see the dentist? That just makes no sense.
I absolutely love the dentist there and always very satisfied with how professional and caring Anita is, but this whole experience really left me on a sour note. I don’t want to blame anyone, I know everyone tried to do their best and offer a good service, but I’m just really disappointed by what happened this week. :(
As I was on leave this last week, I thought it might be faintly possible to get a check-up with a local dentist practice as I'd been experiencing some mild pain recently.
Fortunately for me, Vistara Smiles are very local so I popped in and found there was an appointment available, this for the very next day. Happy day's then.
I had been booked in at 09:30 but Anita was running late so we re-scheduled for 13:30, these things happen in the real world.
Having just mentioned Anita, I would just like to echo many of the comments on here.
Yes, she's lovely and wholly deserving of the praise exalted upon her by others here.
All went well and I'm happy to recommenced Vistara Smiles to all in need of a dentist.
I should just add, Anita's farther was my GP before he retired. He was/is, a lovely man, blessed with a casual and kindly manner which inspired confidence in his words whenever you spoke together.
I'm sure he is justly proud of his beautiful daughter who now ,continues his work, though with a slightly different emphasis on the part of the person she tends to.
