Just visited this dental surgery today after recently breaking a tooth. I have not been to a dentist for 25 years!. I was seen by Dr. Michael Perry and by Katie. I know it was only a checkup but Michael was unbelievably gentle, efficient and reassuring, especially If, like me, you were afraid of visiting the dentist. Really, the consummate professional. I am looking forward to seeing him again soon to have the necessary work done. Thank you Dr. Perry. Thank you Katie. :-D

Really good dental surgery. We see Dr. Southam - great dentist; would recommend highly. Kind and considerate, and superb with our son.

I've just completed my treatments at Northern Smiles ( Crook) - my first as a private patient. I've always been nervous about dental visits, but I needn't have worried about this one. Dr Michael Perry was very understanding and calm, and immediately put me at my ease. He very professionally carried out an hour of dental work which was completely pain free. His assistant Katie was also excellent and made sure I had no discomfort at all during the procedures. I'd also like to mention how welcoming and courteous all the reception staff were during phone calls and visits. A big thank- you - this was the best dental experience I've had - wish I'd found you years ago.

Recently had a check up and then today two fillings. My dentist was fabulous, I am always nervous, he put me at ease, and for once I didn’t feel a thing, he was quick but explained everything. Best dentist I have had! Thoroughly recommend.

I received an excellent service from my dentist. He gave my son excellent advice and guidance on how to clean his teeth properly and how to look after them. My son has taken this advice on board. Thanks again.

The staff are always friendly and will help wherever they can - nothing is too much trouble. We usually see Jack Southam and he's brilliant with the children. He also understands that I'm a nervous patient and fearful of dental work but always does his best to reassure me and tells me exactly what he's doing and why (while probably inwardly rolling his eyes at how pathetic I am, but he definitely doesn't show it!) When the children have needed to see someone else after accidents at school, they've always been seen quickly and treated with care and professionalism.

Over the last week I have taken my two boys to see Amit for their check ups. He was amazing with my 3 year old making his visit a positive one. He offered some excellent advice to me as a parent especially what to expect when my 3 month old starts his teething journey. On a personal note I can't thank Amit enough a couple for years ago when I needed a tooth extraction. My face was double the size it should have been and he saved me from having to go to hospital. He kept me at ease at a very anxious and worrying time. I love the fact that I have built a positive relationship with Amit and I am not just another patient he sees once in a while. I also cannot leave out Kenny who has equally made me feel at ease with recent treatment and throughout my pregancy last year. They both go over and beyond. Thank you.

I'm nervous and incredibly anxious of the dentist but Jack always puts me at ease, talks to me all the time and tells me what he's doing as he does it. Staff are always helpful
