Moonlight Dental Surgery

I visited this clinic for the first time and had one of the best experience ever. First of all I got the appointment without any hassle on phone and when I walked in the clinic I was welcomed by a beautiful smile of the receptionist. I was seen soon after I arrived by an very experience and extremely friendly dentist. I felt myself fortunate to book my appointment with this dental clinic and will recommend to all of my family and friend. Thank you to all the staff at the clinic. Please keep the best work doing.

I tried moonlight as it had been recommended by many people on social media. They were happy to have me as a new customer. Very helpful throughout. Felt relaxed and dentist was very professional. I have continued to use them, as has my family. I cannot recommend your practice enough.

The test of a good business is its reception area and receptionist. I went there for my appointment this morning. Not only was the general building very shabby, but the receptionist need to be trained to be polite and welcoming. The chairs in the reception area were filthy. I thought it was stains from paint, but it was actual dust and grime. How can they be trusted in one’s mouth if they can’t keep their reception area clean? So I just left. They can keep the £10 deposit. So unprofessional! I wouldn’t trust them with a barge pole.

Was called in on time and checked my teeth thoroughly.
Took my circumstances into consideration with regards to how my treatment has to progress further. Overall a good experience and staff were kind and professional.

Had to wait 5 months for a filling sbd tgen the appointment was csncelled on the dsy, 2 hrs before My appointment. I was rebooked 2 weeks later and was pleasex to get my filling done. Nice friendly staff and orthodontics was very attentive as always.

Awful experience at Moonlight today. I had appointments for myself and my two daughters (6 and 3) we were seen by Dr Gill who made no effort to speak to my children or make them comfortable in his chair. He took less than 20 seconds to look in their mouths and didn’t answer my concern about one of my daughters grinding her teeth at night.
My own experience in the chair was also less than 30 seconds and again, he seemed completely dis-interested and as if my concerns were boring. Dr Gill literally made me feel as though we were an inconvenience.
The last time we visited the surgery, we were seen by a different and FAR kinder dentist who actually made the experience very pleasant and informative for all of us. We will not be returning to this practice again.

If I could give zero stars I would. The only good thing about the place is the kind receptionist (young lady with the blonde hair). I was advised to seek an emergency dental appointment from my local GP and 111 due to 9 days of jaw, ear and head pain, I also had swollen glands and a red throat which all indicated towards an infected wisdom tooth (I’ve previously had two wisdom teeth infected with both removed so I knew this was the likely the issue to my pain). As soon as I sat down and Dr Gill looked at my teeth he was completely dismissive of all my concerns simply because he saw that I had “turkey teeth” as he described. He stated I had an incorrect alignment and my veneers and crowns that I had done in Turkey last year were too big (I’ve not had any issues with my teeth at all since having them done, in fact the dentist in Turkey fixed the problems a UK dentist caused). He did not listen to my actual concerns and instead very rudely criticised the work of another dentist and patronised me saying “have you not watched the documentaries on tv about turkey teeth?”. Rather than listening to my concerns and me stating to him that I’ve had issues with my bite since I was a child and I didn’t have alignment in my teeth prior to my veneers he sat there and told me the only way to fix my issues is to have all my teeth taken out and replace which would cost over 20K. I said to him I think this is a wisdom tooth issue but he didn’t even bother to check. He said my GP was also wrong. I have never been so rudely spoken to and dismissed simply because I had treatment abroad. I walked away feeling upset, worried and let down. As I walked back to my car I phoned up a private dental clinic in the area who specialise in cosmetic dentistry. I told them what had happened and they made a booking to see me within the hour. During my appointment with the private dentist they xrayed my mouth and took a look, he said my veneers from Turkey are nothing to worry about, in fact they were very good quality, I don’t need any teeth replacing and all I have is a simple wisdom tooth infection which he photographed and showed me on a big screen. I was given antibiotics for the infection straight away with a follow up appointment booked. The fact Dr Gill could not spot a simple wisdom tooth infection and spent more time giving me his unnecessary opinion on “turkey teeth” meant I had to pay £250 for a private appointment. Absolutely disgusted in the way he speaks to people. At the end of the appointment I asked Dr Gill what to do, he said the only answer is to have all my teeth replaced. He caused me unnecessary panic and distress. I then asked if he knew any private clinics he could recommend and he couldn’t even advise me of one, just told me to google it. Never been so disappointed in my life. Avoid at all costs. An untreated infection could have caused so many more issues. I will be taking this complaint further.

The process of dealing with Jas and his team has been amazing, simple and a enjoyable experience. The end result is fantastic and I am very happy with my teeth 🙌🏻🥳
