If you register as a NHS patient - Beware. They don't inform you of their policy when you register, and remove you without letting you know. I called for an emergency appointment. Hopeless. Reading other recent reviews, it appears I'm not the only one who has been let down. I should have read the reviews before registering here. Fortunately found another better dentist.

Brockley House Dental is an excellent Dental Practice with a caring and most helpful staff team. Stroud is most fortunate to have their care and expertise.Dr Sunnar is my Dentist who has recently helped me through my first beautiful dental bridge!

I feel absolutely butchered and uncared for.
Went in to have a tooth out, as had serious pain from infected rotten tooth, got given 4 Anesthetic injections and had the dentist try to pull my tooth 3 times before saying that the Anesthetic may not work because of the infection. By this time my left eye wouldn't close my right eye wouldn't stay open, I was feeling very strange whole face numb, and I just got dismissed out of the room with a prescription for antibiotics and an appointment the following week.
No aftercare was given, no advice on how to deal with the now doubled pain. I was even offered some spicy crisps by the dentist when I was having palpertations, but I'd told her I couldn't eat because of the pain.
These so called professionals act like they should be under supervision from a more experienced dentist.

Very unhelpful and not very friendly receptionist which sadly made me decide against booking the appointment which I was hoping to make. I was also told that there was nothing available for 7 weeks which seems exceptionally long even for a dentist appointment.

I have been a patient here for 25 years and the practise has changed a lot. However I have always received good service and care from the dentists and especially the hygienists with good advice and instruction. A thorough job is always given. I am very happy with service this practise gives.

A coupe of negatives though.

Appointment times are rarely met, no matter what time of day. Im often waiting 20+ mins before I am seen including today despite being called and asked to come to my appointment early!
Also the waiting areas are tired and scruffy and would benefit from professional redecoration and modernisation.

I was an NHS patient here for years. I needed to book a check-up in early 2020 in order to keep my place, but was unable to due to coronavirus. Fast forward, post-lockdowns, I tried to book an appointment and was told I had been removed from the NHS list without warning, and was met with a completely unhelpful, unsympathetic attitude. To boot, I managed to call back recently when they were accepting NHS patients and was told I'd been 'blacklisted' becaused I'd 'lapsed'. Shocking.

Reception staff are down right rude and unhelpful. Never known anything like it...

Basic politeness would be good. ... Just on a human scale
