Bupa Dental Care Stroud

The receptionists are always efficient, courteous and friendly and Davina Harrington is most certainly the best dentist I have ever had. Courteous, friendly, incredibly efficient and professional. It's 5 stars every day of the week.

had a routine extraction here .
2 days later severe pain and swelling
on return i was seen by another dentist
was told i had an infection and a dry socket
was given antibiotics and was cleaned out
5 days later no better
severe pain and swelling
tried for 3 days to get another appointment but always to busy
that in itself would be bad enough but staff on reception unbelievably rude
chose to move dentist today
no problem with davina my original dentist
she was very nice and quite professional
but if your in that much pain and can’t be seen ??
and the reception staff can’t be that rude to people
looking at the reviews it certainly looks like they have a problem in that department

Appalling patient service.
Routine 6 month NHS appointment booked following last visit. Arrived at the practice to be told they couldn't see me as none of the dentist's want to work for the NHS.
Asked why they didn't let me know in advance & their response was we will have to get a letter out !!

Archway cancelled our appointments back in June and September, told us to ring back in November to rebook. Now to be told no NHS dentists are working there so go private with Bupa or go elsewhere. Shocking service, what about your NHS patients?? Reception staff rude and unhelpful. You can put Bupa where the sun don’t shine

Really unprofessional and rude. Rang to tell them I would be late to an appointment and was told would be fine thank you for letting them know to turn up and be told I’m too late and the dentist won’t see me. Very rude and disgusting service. Receptionists very unfriendly.

Very similar experiences as other reviewers. To have appointments cancelled over 2022 by them, or be told dentists are away, then be told in a sms and letter asking me to call back in Nov if i still needed an appointment, then be told, sorry, all NHS dentists have walked out, go private. So what is the point of even being on a NHS register with them?

Useless!!

Sent a letter out not long ago to NHS patients saying they will only see you in an emergency.

Called today with a broken tooth to be told no longer seeing NHS patients.

Very poor communication, avoid at all costs.

All NHS Dentists have resigned, so even people with underlying health conditions and in need of urgent treatment must pay to be seen privately. Reception staff are so used to 'customers' being unhappy they are robotic with their cold, blunt rudeness. Why be forced to be a private customer here with staff having such a horrible attitude, when you can pay private elsewhere? Avoid like the plague. This Bupa practice deserves to rot.
