I've been going here since I was old enough to have teeth and never had a problem until Oasis took over. My appointment got cancelled (the 3rd time my appointment has been cancelled out of the 4 times I've booked this year) and I was told 'well you're just unlucky' by the receptionist. I was in pain and the dentist offered to see me in spare time, fine. I didn't mind waiting an hour and a half because he was doing me a favour. But as I was leaving I was told 'if you don't like the service, then find somewhere else'.
It makes me sad that I'll have to find a new practice after being so loyal and paying so much as a private patient but the customer service and treatment I have received has been appalling.

Registered at a new dental practice in our area and went to the initial new patients appointment today. The experience from when we walked in was way below any private clinic standards. Dirty and very dated practice. Had first check up and xrays done which were included in the price. Myself and husband visit our dentists regularly and 6 months ago had no indication of decays. I was advised had 3 and my husband potentially one.
Chose a Bupa dental care practice as was advised as a Bupa member there would be a direct payment facility and no need to reimburse as I used to do previously. I was advised this practice did not do direct payment and I would have to claim back. We then asked for an itemized receipt, which first was printed out a receipt stating professional services for £74 per person for check-up only. We then questioned the treatment prices and asked for an itemised receipt for the treatment as could not claim back with this. Receptionist said would be the treatment and xrays and would have to wait for dentist to change and itemize in the system. I then saw the price list on the wall which stated £61 for new patients including 2 xrays. The manager was called out and she again said would need to speak to the dentist to change this in the system and could not refund my husband back the difference, would be taken off next appointment. We will not be going back to this disgraceful clinic. There was also a £5 charge on the bill which they then explained was to cover PPE COVID measures costs, which was for hand gel and we had to replace our existing masks for one of theirs. Have never been charged before for such PPE.

This practice is below private standards, over charged us and their dental advice was questionable if actually creditable. The receptionist had a bad attitude and very unhelpful who walked off reception saying not dealing with us anymore.

The receptionist is quite rude. I have been trying to get my son a standard nhs check up for over a year and keep getting told I will go on a waiting list as the NHS dentist will only work on treatments and very urgent cases. She advised that if my son gets a toothache I should wait until it is extreme and he has a very swollen face before the dentist will look at it. No customer service skills at all.

Thank you for the reply however you do not seem to acknowledge how rude the receptionist is. Also it would be helpful to send a communication to patients to let them know the situation otherwise we believe we are on a waiting list. I’ve waited longer than a year and have no idea if my child’s teeth are okay, if I knew the situation earlier I could have looked for an alternative dentist instead of waiting in good faith for the dental practice we have used for many years.

Found myself in the worse immense pain i have ever felt in all my 32 years on this earth. I knew very little about the change my local Bupa Dental care was going through from being public to private. It caught me off- Guard and made me very vulnerable and frighten to have to pay 3 figure numbers for my teeth something i never thought would happen due to the comfort i got before the pandemic started. Lucky enough for me , The amazing Ladies on reception comforted the situation and booked me in knowing how much pain I've been in. It took two appointments and a very professional Doctor Yusuf Miyanjii who took my pain away and gave me the satisfactory relief i never thought id feel again after being in pain for 7 days. Doctor Yusuf MiyanJii with he's co-worker Sam saw to me and insured the process ran smoothly and made me feel in safe hands assuring me the best outcome and procedure and action of plan to take. I can't thank the Bupa practice enough for the amazing work putting there patients first rather then the money first! Thank You So Much Doctor Yusuf Miyanjii for not giving up on your patients and leaving them happy and smiling again. Your amazing work from yourself and your whole team does not go unnoticed! I look forward to continue my treatments with an amazing Dental clinic!

Long overdue visit since delay due to covid and medical treatment pleasantly surprised with the recent changes and the professional staff in particularly my dental professional and hygienist Mona and Sanjana respectively who were very proactive in my future treatment.

I'm shocked by the reviews on here! The practice is lovely, I've been a patient for 6 years now with my family even before Bupa and have always received excellent care and treatment from my dentist. Receptionists are really friendly to speak to and they are very accommodating. The practice is very busy but in my opinion, they manage it really well! I agree it could do with a refurb as does look shabby... but have been told its on the agenda soon. Thank you from the King Family
