Clifton Dental Care

Massive thank you to the ladies today who looked after me during and after my appointment today. Felt a little off, and unbalanced after having my treatment today. Felt that I was on the verge of a panic attack. Both ladies went above to ensure I felt safe and comfortable to go, even got me a little drink as a pick me up.

Extremely happy with the dental care, and the service of all who work here.

Highly recommended.

Cheapest dentist in Cardiff, but doesn't feel like it. Friendly professional staff.

Yes, it could do with a paint job here and there, but overall great dentist!

Been using this practice since a small child with my parents followed by my husband and daughter .
Extremely friendly receptionists nothing to much trouble.
Very accommodating when I used to take my father who could no longer go up the stairs they would kindly arrange for his dentist to see him on the ground floor .
I’ve seen numerous dentist’s over the years and they have all been very professional and friendly which puts you at ease .

Every dentist I’ve met amazing! But the reception are overly rude. Thought it was a one off but been a good 8 years now. Also had an incident where a receptionist there shared my private information

The receptionist working this morning on the 28/11/2022 was extremely rude. I phoned up at 9am to ask if I was still able to be seen as I had cold sore on my lip, no answer so I tried a few times then finally got an answer at 2pm. I asked the receptionist if I was still able to be seen and she told me I’d have to pay £40 as the appointment could of gone to someone else, I replied that I had been phoning all morning without any success.
I asked the receptionist if she would ask the dentist and she just kept saying id have to pay the £40, which I kept telling her no I wouldn’t.
I then asked the receptionist her name as she was being very rude, not letting me speak. Then she hung up the phone on me.
I was very shocked and upset as I did not expect that type of treatment.
I will be looking else where for a dentist as I do not feel comfortable returning to this practice. The dentist are very nice just wish the receptionist would act the same.

Receptionist absolutely unhelpful and had no care to help. Need to see hygienist before check up appointment next month and told them why which was part of my tooth had fallen off or plaque and they gave me the impression they didn't care. Asked who to call in cases like this and they didn't have a clue, no idea. Might consider changing dentists based on thos experience.

Had to have a filling replaced and the filling wasn’t done correctly by the hygienists and started breaking apart shortly after, took the hygienists three tries and they still did it wrong.
Went to another dentist elsewhere who said it was done poorly and will need fixing. I also had two other teeth that needed tiny bit of work which I brought up at Clifton during a check up which was ignored and told it was all okay and they didn’t need work done, the new dentist I went to said she’ll get me sorted. Disappointed as the last experience I had was good.
Receptionist I dealt with was lovely and very kind.
