Brilliant dental practice, I highly recommend - this was the first time I’ve ever had fillings and I was quite nervous. Anthony the dentist is really friendly and clearly very competent, did his best to put me at ease and delivered excellent care. All staff are really friendly.

Reception staff are always friendly and accommodating regarding appointments. Nothing is too much trouble.
The Dentist, Jane, is always welcoming and puts me at ease.
She is always professional, offering good advice, and happy to answer questions regarding my concerns.
Very thorough examinations and treatments.
Have even had follow up phone calls to check on my treatment.
Excellent hygienist too.
The practice’s building is very modern and immaculate.

As always my visit to Cyncoed Dental Practice went very smoothly, the staff were very friendly, professional and efficient. My dental treatment was excellent, I was updated on my dental care and given advice regarding additional cleaning techniques to keep my teeth and gums healthy. The experience was very pleasant, if visiting the dentist can ever be a pleasant experience.

Disappointed in my last experience at this dental practice. Called to book an appointment as I was having problems with my teeth and was given an appointment for nearly 3 weeks later. No issues here, however after my appointment I was charged for an emergency appointment because the dentist decided to fill my holes instead of just do a check up. Well had I known I would be charged for an emergency appointment after waiting 3 weeks of course I would not accept to have any work done but they did not communicate this to me and their website states emergency appointments will be seen same day. So how they can charge me for that is absolutely ridiculous. When I called up, the receptionist tried to justify the reasoning which made absolutely no logical sense and tried to tell me I was confused! They did not refund me or apologise for their mistake but decided to not charge me for a dental check up for the next appointment. Which I did not want to go to after my terrible experience but now had to to get my money's worth I suppose. Not only that but the dentist I saw said she would email me a plan of the work I need and pricing but nearly a month later and I have received nothing. Absolutely unprofessional and just money grabbing people. Also I am a mother to a new baby and when I asked if my husband could wait with the baby in the reception area on a boiling hot day (we had to walk, no car and we live a bit far) the receptionist said there wasn't any spare chairs. Well there was a spare chair right next to the one I was sat on so my husband waited outside under the sun with the baby. Honestly I would give zero stars if i could. I will never use this dental practice again and I do not recommend them. If you want to be scammed out of your hard earned money then visit them if not I would look for a more honest and professional dental practice.

Highly recommend. Initially attended as an emergency but have since completed a full course of treatment. The hygienist Jaime has transformed my gums and my confidence. Unfortunately my own NHS dentist ignored my bleeding gums for many years, which has led to the bone and gums shrinking down but thankfully everything is much better now. The practice itself is not like any dental practice I have been to. It is modern bright and clean. Well worth the extra cost. I advise all people who have bleeding gums to get a second opinion if their dentist is ignoring it- it could save you your teeth!

I have left a review previously, but I am so impressed by this dental practice that I felt an update was needed. The whole team are very friendly, professional and expert practiciouns. They have corrected a number of problems I had with my teeth, with care, consideration, and efficiency. I was so impressed that I booked my three daughters in to see them. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Five stars indeed.
