REBOS

The new owners Rebos, have done a great job with this former Oldrids department store. Compared to the former it seems quite sparse inside, but this gives you plenty of space to walk around easily. Because of this, the items they do sell are better displayed, not crammed on shelves. They have an excellent choice of fragrances & clothing in particular, but considering it's location, their target demographic is obviously set quite high, as it's all quality brands, with prices to match. However, it's not cheaply made Pep & Co disposable stuff, it's generally good quality, so you'd expect to pay more. I like good clothing, but not necessarily into brands, so for some items, like T shirts I don't think it's worth paying a lot more for (IMO) so couldn't justify spending £25 on a white T Shirt, just to have a Ben Sherman or whatever logo, but that applies anywhere. Don't be put off thinking it's all high prices either, as they do have some very good deals and offers too. You won't see too many staff around either, but those they do have are extremely helpful and pleasant. The other reason for liking Rebos, is their excellent restaurant on the 2nd floor, which we always visit if we have time whilst shopping town. There's plenty of seating, including window seating which is where we always sit. The food is very good indeed, and includes a large variety, anything from tea & lovely rustic home made cake, to sandwich platters, panini's, and full meals, all nicely presented too. Prices are very fair indeed, panini's served with chips and salad garnish was about £6, and the hot meals we've had have all been less than £8. Service is excellent, from ordering, our food has nearly always been delivered to our table in less than 10 minutes, but may depend on what you're having. Department stores are becoming a rare thing, this one is trying something a little different, unlike Oldrids before, it's keeping stock and staffing to a more cost effective level, whilst still offering a good choice, although I'd like to see some of the ranges expanded, and maybe add consumer electronics?

Went in for morning coffee with a friend upstairs in restaurant. Coffee good and reasonable price, girl who served us was friendly, but the floor in restaurant was filthy, didn’t look like it had been cleaned or swept for a few days. Stairs could have done with a hoover too. The goods in store were nice and quality seemed good and lots of choice, but the shop seemed empty of customers. Shame really..

Amazing, amazing, amazing - sums up our experience in the store on Saturday. From the store staff to the manager, they were attentive from beginning to end. They had our every need covered. They provided shoes for us to try on with our many selected dresses and offered professional and personal advice as needed. The store manager ensured our visit and experience was second-to-none - even going that extra mile by heavily discounting our lunch. I cannot recommend this department store enough. If you want a truly outstanding shopping experience, then this is the store for you. Thank you for making our day special.

What a fantastic experience shopping at Rebos ! The staff could not have been anymore attentive. We went to look at their selection of their Mother Of the Bride/Groom / Wedding Outfits which were excellent value and quality and they have an exceptionally SALE on at the moment! We hadn't planned on trying the dresses and with no fuss they sorted us with some more suitable shoes from the shoe department and a hat and fascinator, there was absolutely no pressure to purchase or on the time we spent and the number of Outfits tried on! Exceptional & Thank you ! Two Wedding Outfits sorted !!! Strongly recommended a visit!

I really like what they've done with the shop,it's bright & spacious,& the coffees excellent,. you can browse without getting in other people's way .I was there with friends on Friday, when the Mayor was celebrating their 1st year of opening & cake cutting ,we were asked if we would like to join in the celebrations & offered cake, the owner & all the staff were very friendly,I will be going back.

Rebos in Boston Town centre is located in what was the Oldrids building. Great location with huge area inside on several floors 👌 and ☕ on the top floor in the old restaurant which I would give a miss. This is well below average, however, if you want a lovely niche coffee ☕ bar go to the back of the shop on the ground level, and you'll find this one tucked away in the corner. Clean, modern, nice tables and chairs 💺 and nice coffee ☕ 👌 and cakes. A lovely quiet area 👌 to sit and chat with a friend.

A very expensive shop, trying to compete with what was Oldrids, a fail there. Hardly any stock and no people in there not like Oldrids. Toilets were disgusting ladies toilets had broken toilet roll holders in the three I tried to go in and the one I went in was just passable. One of the toilets had blood all over the seat which had dried so toilets hadn't been checked. If it doesn't improve the shop will be closing. No atmosphere.

Food excellent but need more variety for food and need to keep it warmer for longer. Kind staff. Expensive but everything is now adays. Spacious shop and cafe for pushchairs and mobility scooters. Need more staff I think though as not many on tills.
