Debenhams

This is a large Debenhams right on Gravesend high street and close to parking and the train station. There are loads of gift ideas aimed at the Christmas shopper, as well as the usual ranges of women's, men's and children's clothing. Staff were super-friendly and very helpful and there's even a cafe in-store. Everything is on one level, making access easy for all. Would love to see a larger section for kids stuff, especially this time of year.

Met up with a friend in the store's café. A most pleasant experience: good coffee and nice cakes and pastries. The service was courteous and friendly, and the general ambience was most agreeable. We shall be meeting up again at Debenhams, Gravesend, without doubt.

Although the remaining staff left behind to lock the building seems helpful and not just ready to kick me out because it's closing time. However, I am still very unhappy for the fact that I got there for 5:25pm trying my possible best to collect my online order. I got in but the actual staffs I met were security, the rest gone. Really disappointed in that.

I had an issue with an online order. A bag where the principles badge was put on upside down. The store agreed to replace the bag. No fuss easy to resolve.

The store is a typical Debenhams store, clothes, shoes, perfume, jewellery etc. They also have good cafe instore.

I am always in Debenhams, mainly for makeup as it has all the high end brands and every so often they have a sale on which is always a good thing. The store itself has been reduced, i.e. The Home Department is no where as good as it used to be. It does need updating and I fear in the future we will lose it altogether.

This is the only Debenhams I visit and isn't my nearest. Great sale on at the moment. Love the ladies on the perfume dept there, they are always friendly and happy to help. Not a lover of the coffee shop to be fair but you can't please everyone all of the time. I always leave with something. Keep this store open please!

We love our Debenhams store in Gravesend.
It's great that we can purchase all the well known branded clothes, cosmetics etc. without having to travel very far.
The staff are so courteous and knowledgeable, it's always an enjoyable time shopping.

Debenhams at Gravesend is closing completely on May 2, 2021.
They had a mixed collection of clothes. More were xxxl sizes and 8 and 10 sizes. The mid size range were not much there. Men's section had some jeans and very few jackets. Some baby clothes were there. You can't expect much from a closing store. Feel sorry for the employees. Some got jobs elsewhere and some were reliant on government sourced redundancy program, as heard from a member of check out staff
