Make sure you book! Popped in for lunch after a hike - great burger and soup and they also sell beer. If like us you've never wandered down the lane to investigate then it's well worth the stroll to The Barn.

Is this one of the best places to come in the area?

Yes.

Great coffee, cake and teas plus burgers and pizza ovens ❤️

You need to book in advance. Plenty of outdoor seating in one of the most beautiful areas with friendly staff.

The most beautiful of places. The staff are friendly and extremely kind and all facilities clean. Food was glorious.

Lovely service
Lovely food
Quirky cars all around. Half cars being used for pizza ovens and vegan food. Very interesting!

Very poor, would not return. Positives: beautiful part of the world. Negatives: terrible food. Had a beef burger - poor quality mince and bun. Asked for it to be cooked medium rare, to be told “no, that’s illegal”. Chips served in a cup and burger served on a bit of roofing tile. Plates exist for a reason. Whole venue plagued by wasps - perhaps get pest control in, if you have a food establishment?! Dog excrement all around the dining table. Queue to order your food, then collect your own food and clear up plates post your food. Can’t park near the venue - have to leave your vehicle in a car park covered in signs from the local police about car crime and vehicles being broken in to. Booking only policy, even for a self service cafe serving snacks and cups of coffee, is a joke. Pity the neighbours having to live next to this noisy low quality venue.

Great for walkers & cyclists, or car park not so far away. Essential to book in advance or you may be disappointed. Great selection of cakes / locally sourced produce. My sausage (patty) bap was very tasty. Good Latte. Very reasonable prices.

We walked from Turville on a 6 mile circular route that came past the Barn at Turville Heath after roughly half an hour of walking. I don't believe they have a carpark so you would need to be able to walk there. Dog friendly though! They advise on their website to book ahead although on the day we visited it wasn't busy so could have probably just turned up. I really liked the use of farm machinery (an old small square baler) as a counter and parts of an old landrover as a pizza oven and Morris 1000 traveller as a shelter for seating,

I ordered a sausage and egg bap which came with a pattie style sausage and runny yoked egg. For me the sausage didn't have a huge amount of flavour (my personal preference is Cumberland sausage) however I appreciate the runny egg. My wife had the veggi and bean goulash which she really enjoyed. I liked the fact they had condiments in their original bottles as opposed to fiddly packets.

Over all I enjoyed the experience including the walk which had a good variety of varied terrain, wildlife (both wild and captive deer) and mock Tudor mansions to gaup at. We will be back to try other things on the menu.

Such a nice location with lovely staff, amazing food and ceramics of dreams which are all locally made. The falafel burger was the best I've ever had and members of my group had the pheasant and venison burgers which were also delicious. Will be back for pizza and goulash!
