The Works

I shopped on Wednesday 21st August in the morning.
What a smashing store. It was clean, extremely tidy and most welcoming.
A joy to browse around. This is the very best The Works I have ever been to. The staff were very helpful and friendly too.

I am VERY grateful to this store as the kind lady at the till, sorry I didn't catch your name, alerted me that I had a fake bank note. She was very professional and showed me how to identify fake notes. Thank her for me and tell her I thankfully had only three fake notes and my bank is looking into it for me. Top marks and a hot drink of her choice for helping me and making me feel less embarrassed about it. 👍🏻

The store has huge ranges of products. It is clean and tidy. The shopfloor layout and marking helps to find certain isles easily. The prices and promotions were updated. The products were faced up to help customers find necessary items. The stuffs were helpful and welcoming. There were good stock of books more than any other products. It could be a good place to buy sets of books, but some of them have poor prices. Also a place to buy stationery, crafts, puzzles and toys. There are other products for kids mainly but adults may find interesting things too.

Yesterdays experience in The Works was excellent, the customer service from Melissa was amazing, I couldn’t thank her enough for her help.

A big store that has a-bit of everything in!

Our daughter picked a book, our son picked a toy, the mrs grabbed some arts and crafts and I got a puzzle! 🤣

I love finding cute interesting little projects to do in my free time. Very affordable too!

Ok shop, staff are a little judgemental towards any type of teenagers though, you always get followed around so I assume you think I’m gonna steal but let’s be honest who’s gonna steal your £5 paint brushes. If you ever pop down with your parents or any type of adult they immediately switch up to being so nice and friendly (mainly the old people staff that do this as I’ve never had a problem with the younger ones)

Brilliant local shop. I have always cherished by visits to them. Thanks a lot for going an extra mile to help me with The Word search books Jacqui (forgive me if I haev spelt your name incorrect). It was really very kind of you to get them for me.
