Home Bargains

Pretty standard layout and items to any other home bargains store. Small fresh and frozen food offering. Store is clean and well presented and the staff are happy enough in what they do. Plenty of car parking but can get very busy and a pain to get out of.

Worst experience I've had. Went in to get some cleaning products and travel sewing kit. The lady at the checkout asked me for my ID before I could pay. I was confused as to why she would need my ID, as I look old enough to be using a sewing kit that included a small scissor. But of course why she wanted my ID was because I was wearing a head covering and looked Asian.
I've done shopping in many stores and bought a scissor and kitchen knife, but I've never been asked for my ID. I never thought I would be discriminated by Home Bargains staff. Very disappointing.

Good selection of stock and friendly staff.

The security guard wouldn't allow me to put rubbish in the bin. He said it was commercial waste, but it was packaging of products which I had purchased from home bargains and home sense. Surley I should be allowed to put the rubbish in one of the many empty bins outside. I left and finished my shopping in B&M.

Who doesn't love home bargains? Not much to say, except that I usually head straight for the tools and electronic gadgets isle before making a bee line for the sweets. Plenty of low priced stock from kids toys to homewares, cleaning products, cosmetics, sweets, drink, food and much more

Everything you need for the home at affordable prices. Always tidy shelves and helpful staff.

Love shopping here, even though stocks quite low ATM.
