was told I'd be getting oil on Tuesday. Cancelled plans just to stay in to pay the driver but they didn't bother turning up. No phone call or explanation. Wednesday I had a call to say I'd be getting oil on Thursday but lo and behold I still have no oil. Once again no explanation or phone call to say they wouldn't be delivering. Awful awful people waited over a week for oil on the day it was supposed to arrive I called them up to confirm at lunch time , was told it's definitely on the way today called again at 5.10 pm to be told that the driver had been back and gone home no explanation no apology. It's not worth using local companies they are useless and unreliable they are less than two miles from my house and didn't offer to rectify the situation. OJ Williams all the way !!! And OJ we're much cheaper !!

Great service in very difficult times , with the high price and waiting time . We had our delivery well before the designated time , and were kept informed of price and when delivery would be. Allison who I spoke to at DJ Davies was lovely .

Have been buying oil for a couple of years from this company so had an online quote and called to order heating oil. On ordering was informed that the price had increased even though had literally just had an online quote . Was told nothing they can do and would not honour the quote unless I ordered through the online service. Was not very helpful at all and explained that other companies were still cheaper but prefer to support a local buisness ! Very disappointed in a dismissive response so have ordered with oil for wales with no issues and great customer service over the phone . Will not purchase again from dj davies .

Very unreliable service. We pay up front because Davies said we'd get better service if we don't have an account. We've had to call repeatedly after the date of promised delivery to ask when our oil will be delivered, only to be told that delivery is up to the driver and that the promised delivery date when we order is only an estimate. On this occasion Davies has had our payment for 12 days already and no oil has been delivered. They never call to tell you when your oil will be delivered if they've missed the delivery date. We've had to turn off our heating systems and won't have any heat or hot water until the driver decides to bring us oil. We won't be dealing with Davies again.

Ordered oil and delivery was arranged for Friday.
Got to 3.30pm and no oil so partner rang and they confirmed that delivery was still on its way and would arrive by the end of the day. Fair enough.
7.30pm still no oil so emailed DJ Davies and got a reply this morning (Saturday). No apology or reason given for the delay. Just told it will arrive today. We'll see.
Terrible service and will not be using them again.

Edit for update: The oil arrived the following day, but 200 litres less than what we had ordered due to them not having enough on the tanker. As it was the weekend, we had to wait until the Monday for the rest of the order. Delivery guys were nice, but the woman on the phone was rude and had no phone manner at all. Bad customer service.

I ordered heating oil from this company over two weeks ago they gladly took my money and there was no mention of delivery problems at the time a day later after delivery date I'm still waiting for oil after contacting them all I could get was live chat all they did was blame the high demand and the pandemic, my oil is low now and the heating engineers told me not to let it go empty I have no idea when I will get my oil so have to be careful, I was asked if I had run out of oil or if there is anyone vulnerable or any children at the location I assume I won't be getting the delivery today either.
Very poor service I'm afraid I will be going elsewhere next time.

Order went in 8 days ago delivery on or before the 19 ... it's now late afternoon on the 20th and there is no sign of my heating oil and no word from the company 😠😠 guess who I won't be buying off in the future
