I can’t recommend this store highly enough!

I don’t really know where to start ... after months of communicating via email, visiting their shop in person to confirm all details and trying to be so organised with a so called ‘professional’ company,
the service we received on the night was horrific! A DJ who couldn’t operate his equipment, couldn’t press play on a CD, was rude to guests who work in the industry who were trying to help, microphones that didn’t work and gave extreme feedback, (which ruined our first attempt at our choreographed first dance (which we spent months preparing to be perfect!), a projector that we couldn’t play our wedding video on (the reason we paid for a wedding video at our abroad wedding - to play it at our home party!!) because apparently our laptop didn’t have VGA, which we were never asked about when we checked (several times!) that everything would work through their projector! I even asked if we could send them the video to have on their laptop just incase and they reassured me I was worrying too much, they were professionals and would make sure everything ran smoothly!!
The list goes on and on how bad they were on the night. We were lucky to have several performers at our wedding party with over an hours worth of live entertainment, which the company had been made aware of months in advance, set lists given in advance and all music given in order on CDs, and all of this nearly wasn’t able to go ahead- I had to get my own personal small PA system that luckily was at the venue, so that the singers could have a working microphone! This was all so stressful for us on the night and not what you want on your wedding day!
The Monday following the Saturday night wedding, I sent a polite email asking for an apology from the company and some compensation for the terrible sound equipment and service that was provided... to which we had no response!
A week later, I decided to ring the company to ask if they had received my email, to which I have NEVER been spoken to so rudely in my entire life! The man on the phone, Matt, was shouting at me, he laughed at me when I said the equipment ruined our first wedding dance, he refused to listen and said we had no proof that they had supplied the sound because we had no official ‘contract’... apparently months of correspondence via email doesn’t count and he is ‘going to delete it all!’ He also claimed ‘Phil’ (The DJ who came) was a subcontractor and not actually part of Stafford Light and sound - which we had paid for!! However, on email correspondence, it had been signed off ‘Matt & Phil’, which makes me think Phil is part of the company!
Since then, my dad has spoken to Matt on the telephone, to which he agreed to refund the money for the projector that we couldn’t use, he told my dad to send bank details over for a transfer. Over 2 weeks later, this still hasn’t happened.
Today, my husband was in Stafford and decided to call in at his shop to speak to him. He PHYSICALLY PUSHED my husband out of the shop and shut the door in his face!!!! He shouted ‘we have no proof that it was their company who provided the lighting and sound’ (despite the fact we had a video made on the night, which the DJ, Phil, can be seen in!)
I cannot believe how we have been spoken to and treated by this company after the horrific service we received!
Please please please do not use this company!
