Excellent very efficient service, appointment on time. All staff friendly and helpful showing me where to go as this was the first visit since surgery has moved into this building. Was in and out and had flu vaccination within minutes.

Great thanks to Lytham Road surgery for arranging flu vaccine for my wife and I recently well organised. The practice has now settled into their new surroundings, having been a patient with LRS since the 1970s our family have always been appreciative of the service available. My wife and I now both 75 have been in need of attention in recent months, everyone has been wonderful, reception are always so helpful Clinicians and doctors have been exceptional in their quick response and referrals.

Just had a very productive and helpful experience with Debbie. With a friendly & professional manner she booked my Asthma review appt as well as my kidney review clinic appointment, organised blood & urine forms. Additionally she answered my query as to how long I have to wait to have my Covid booster given that I am currently testing Covid positive. Massively helpful experience, thank you.

Making the appointment for my flu jab was easy (though I don’t know how older people without internet access would manage)

I’d never been to the new surgery, so wasn’t sure where I was going, but once I found the reception desk it all went very smoothly. Some temporary signs directing patients would have helped.

Very good consultation. Although I managed to book an appointment eventually, I think you could improve your automatic response on the telephone. To get a welcome message and then a message saying hold the line while the next receptionist is available is too reassuring when later you are told that there is high demand and to ring back later and then to be cut off. You don't need the welcoming message if you are going to be cut off.

Nice new modern premises.
My suggestion would be that they also modernise the appointment booking system. At present you are told to ring up at 8am, the answer phone then tells you all lines are busy and you get cut off and have to start again and again many times till you get through. Why not at least have a system that says you are number x in the queue? (Of course if you were really ill would you be able to get out of bed to ring at 8am?!)

The nurse we saw was excellent, could not have been better. She was superb with my daughter and put my mind at rest in a worrying time.
The only reason it isn’t five stars is the fact that the telephone cuts you off when you ring! 26 times I had to ring just to get though, people need putting into a queue rather than just being told to ring back.

Absolutely fantastic service and such a breath of fresh air compared to other surgeries I've been with in the past.

The reception team are excellent, they are your friend and happy to help!
Lauren in particular was so helpful and catered to my needs with excellence!
