Only posting this really because of the other reviews......Whilst I get the waiting times are very frustrating with certain doctors in the practise, I have to say that I find Dr. Shmitgen takes whatever time it takes (like the old days) with patients and is thorough in her investigations. I no longer live local to this practise but have no desire to change, other surgeries have waiting time problems too, not with the same quality of service! I’d rather wait a bit and come away feeling positive than wait and come away no better than when I went!

Wait time is ridiculous. First in morning rang to book an appointment. They said you don't need although last time doctor said if you don't feel better then you need to book again after week. So when I rang in today put on hold for almost 20-25 minutes and then got replied you cant book appointment as you don't need one. How can you assess someone without examining them. Got told one of the nurses will ring back which one them did. So got booked for appointment been waiting ages not een seen yet. Ridiculous service and waiting time.

Even though you have to wait quite a bit sometimes the doctors are very efficient and are in no rush to get rid of you like some surgeries. Judging by their behaviour, it seems they genuinely care and they really take their time with each patient. Dr Schmitgen and Dr Malhotra are extremely friendly. Definitely recommend.

I’ve been a patient for ever here but I have to say the service now is appalling to say the least. Not working people friendly and definitely not single parent friendly. It has only gone 16.00 and the receptionist would not budge on letting me speak to a nurse or put me in the list for triage, call in the morning she says rudely. I explained I have work in the morning, she didn’t care. Then she says buy it over the counter, honey I have already looked before calling my gp and it’s very expensive and I don’t pay for my prescriptions. I would have gone and brought it saves me having to deal with a junked up arrogant Un compassionate arse aka this receptionist, her name is tasleem aashiq btw, there’s probably many others who have encountered her too. I will be changing my surgery as soon this covid thing is done with. I wouldn’t speak to anyone like this and don’t expect to be spoken to like this.

Been a patient since 1980, never had a problem, obviously there can be hiccups at reception due to high number of patients registered at the surgery?
However, staff members, management and health professionals are in my opinion the best one can expect. I Ave always found them to be understanding, they show concern and sympathy with the patients and provide excellent service at all times.

Dr Schmitgen is thorough in her examinations and gives you all the time you need to explain your symptoms. Her knowledge and care for patients is second to none. Although waiting times are long sometimes, it’s the same everywhere and I would not change my GP at all.

I feel disgusted about how I have been treated by this surgery! I have medical issues causing me great concern and every time I call to try and see a doctor I am fobbed off with the excuse they can’t make appointments only on the day so basically they only cater for patients who don’t work it’s disgusting how we go to work pay taxes and national insurance for this joke of a surgery to run and you can’t even get in for an appointment!! They are rinsing NHS resources and not providing the service it’s disgusting! I will be going to NHS England

Unorganised and irresponsible. Had to call them more than 5 times just to get a prescription. Got called in to collect it and it wasn't even signed then had to wait a few more days for the doc to sign it with the risk of my asthma getting worse just because they couldn't give it me on time.
