Rosehill Surgery

Been with this surgery all my life, the Drs have always been kind, understanding and knowledgeable,I understand sometimes they over run BUT your a person first then a patient, from the practice manager Carol to the receptionists to back room staff they're wonderful staff who really go out off their way to help. The nurse's are terrific. If you want quality you go to the best, personally they've seen my family through good and bad. They deserve a massive pat on the back all of them. Hate it. Been going all my life I'm 34 and I'm going to leave once and for all. The time to be seen is months in advance but that doesn't upset me. It's that I've never been where I've come away with a cure. Had back problems for last 10 years and I can't get an MRI scan even when I've turned up with letters from Physio's. I must have been docs 10 times with this problem. The horrible doc that I always manage to get when I go has no care what happens to me he's just desperate to get me out of the door and onto his next patient. I think my longest appointment with a doctor here has been 5mins but I'm usually kicked out the door in 2-3 mins from entering (seriously). I don't go to the docs unless I have a serious issue and even then I'm embarrassed to go because of how they make me feel when I'm there.

The other problem I've got now is this cough. I turned up after 3 weeks complaining about it as it's not a normal feeling cough. Same doc again kicked me out door in 2 mins said it was a post viral cough nothing to worry about. 2 weeks later I got a chest infection and I was in wolves and got some penicillin. Cleared up the infection but cough still here. irs been 10 weeks now and they can't help me. They just want shut of me as they aren't capable of assessing me properly and figuring out what's wrong with me.

I've finally decided to leave. My advice to anyone thinking of signing on here is to leave well alone. Some of the doctors might be ok but the guy I always seem to get is a disgrace.

dr white is very good he explains well, the reason people have to wait wait so long is everyone wants to see dr white,I would not want to go anywhere else ,, the nurses are good and dr Wilson has mellowed over the years

Since the merge they expect people to go to Manchester road surgery and when you ring they never seem to answer, as a result im always going out of hours! Its no joke when your a single parent and have to drag your special needs child and baby to the hospital!

I've been a patient here for eight years and have nothing but praise for each and every one of the staff, Medical, Nursing and Admin. I've had some major problems but they've been managed with the highest degree of professionalism. Highly recommended.

Worst GP I have ever been to. 1 month waiting for a nurse appointment!!! any one thinking about joining this GP don't bother, don't waste your time. There are few decent ones in Burnley join them instead....

This week 6.7.20 after waiting in a queue of 20 , got aa telephone apt for doc to ring me. She did ring whilst I was at work because we do have to work! I missed the call due to bad signal. I rang back straight away only to be in a queue system of 11. Receptionist told me the doctor would ring me back. This never happened. After finishing work I rang the docs to say I was still waiting for the doc to call. I was told, well its afternoon now and I'd have to make another apt for the next day. I asked if I could I do that but she said I would have to ring back in the morning to make an apt for tomorrow!!!!

Staff are helpful but trying to sort a prescription out is an absolute joke. Went for an appointment due to having severe back pain and was told what they prescribed me would be available to collect within an hour from my chemist, 4 hours later and still nothing. Chemist is now shut and I'm left with no medication. Looks like I'm not sleeping tonight
