Devon Road Surgery

1 month wait for an appointment with a nurse. When I questioned this and asked to speak to someone else I was then told they didn’t like my “tone”, and then found two “cancellation “ amazing they only found this after I complained. I don’t understand why you can see any other doctors or dentists and yet this surgery can only offer a telephone consultation a month done the line, would definitely not recommend this surgery

Impossible to get an appointment. Having received a telephone consultation we were advised to monitor and book a face to face for our 4 year old daughter. Tried to do this 3 mornings in a row from the minute the telephone lines opened. We are a 5 min walk from the surgery but are now heading to urgent care. Covid measures need to be reviewed again and we need to be able to see people!

Disgusting treatment from this awful surgery. Used to be very helpful & friendly, now with a very rude ignorant practice manager. Failed massively to help with mental health issues, did not consider patients welfare in a crisis, all phone conversations recorded by me to help build my case. Now reported to Health Service Ombudsman and opened file complaint, please register your complaints or these complaints will continue. Thankfully working for a great law firm with good lawyers to help guide me. Don’t give up!! Just look at the reviews, totally unacceptable for a NHS doctors practice. Shameful 1.7 figures don’t lie, maybe if the practice manager did her job properly you wouldn’t have to deal with such an appalling service.

Rang Surgery this morning at 08.30, (as advised) to make an appointment. I was number 18 in line, so I opted for call back. My phone rang at 9.25, I answered, and after listening to music for a while, they put the phone down ! Now I'm calling them again, and am number 10. I know already the response I will get "call tomorrow at 08.30" What's going with DEVON ROAD SURGERY ?

Very helpful pleasant receptionist. Staff here including admin as well as doctors and nurses caring as well as knowledgeable and helpful even in pressurised situations. Very grateful thank you

Tried to book travel vaccinations. They've removed them, told to go to boots have been unable to get in before my holiday. Called back again for advice/help and avoid going private. Got told to call boots again and no help. May have to move surgery

The doctors are great and all of the staff that work there. The admin team deserve more credit. I've never had an issue with my local surgery and find they will always go out of their way to help with my questions and queries when they can.

They did a fab job during the pandemic and continue to do so now.

Doctor brilliant, but he has asked me to ring him back in 4 weeks to discuss new medication, have been trying for a week & a half to get an appointment. Spoken to like I'm nothing by the receptionist so will have to go without new medication, recommended to be slowly discontinued over 3 weeks not one day. But not to worry as clearly my health doesn't matter 🙂
