If you need an appointment here let’s all put our hands together and pray for you.
You will need to book weeks or months in advance - I’m sure they do this in the hopes you’ll miraculously get better before your appointment date & to free up some ‘chill time’ for themselves when you don’t turn up.
To book an appointment you’ll have to engage with one of the completely under qualified and rude receptionists, who I guarantee will tell you “we don’t have anything for 3 weeks”.
If your really not that sick and opt to wait for an appointment, you'll be greeted upon arrival by the aforementioned reception staff, who’ll be that ‘busy’ they won’t even be at their desk. Appointments are never on time and you could be waiting an hour after your allocated time to see a GP; three minutes late to your appointment and you’ve missed it - No chance of seeing a GP (come back in 3 weeks). You'll get a different GP every time and you’ll have approximately 2 minutes with said GP before they will shove you out of the door as fast as they can.
Serious issues are constantly overlooked and procedures are not followed - this has been that case for years.
... If your leg isn’t falling off your wasting your time.
... If your leg is falling off they probably won’t know what to do, or one of the receptionists will have lost your paper work.
You're better off going on amazon next day delivery buying a first aid kit, then googling “stitching leg back on at home” - that’s all the GP’s do at Bridgegate, however DIY method has a much quicker turnaround.
It’s a shame to see hardworking tax payers money paying the wages of these people. If any of the reception staff are reading this, then please don’t take the fact that you hate your job out on patients - get a new job; something with less pay more suited to your skill set.
If you want decent “healthcare” I advise to go elsewhere, anywhere.
Receptionists just ignore you when you explain why you can't wait in long queues on phone cos of work rules
They have training days every month, definitely not discussing patient service
- Sent a letter and had minium outcome
- practice manager was meant to call and never did, the following day I rang and they want another letter!
- at 8am sat in que sizes over 20
- cannot get appointments
Absolutely disgusting!
