Shame you can’t rate 0 stars; it would make this a more accurate review.
If you need an appointment here let’s all put our hands together and pray for you.
You will need to book weeks or months in advance - I’m sure they do this in the hopes you’ll miraculously get better before your appointment date & to free up some ‘chill time’ for themselves when you don’t turn up.
To book an appointment you’ll have to engage with one of the completely under qualified and rude receptionists, who I guarantee will tell you “we don’t have anything for 3 weeks”.
If your really not that sick and opt to wait for an appointment, you'll be greeted upon arrival by the aforementioned reception staff, who’ll be that ‘busy’ they won’t even be at their desk. Appointments are never on time and you could be waiting an hour after your allocated time to see a GP; three minutes late to your appointment and you’ve missed it - No chance of seeing a GP (come back in 3 weeks). You'll get a different GP every time and you’ll have approximately 2 minutes with said GP before they will shove you out of the door as fast as they can.
Serious issues are constantly overlooked and procedures are not followed - this has been that case for years.
... If your leg isn’t falling off your wasting your time.
... If your leg is falling off they probably won’t know what to do, or one of the receptionists will have lost your paper work.
You're better off going on amazon next day delivery buying a first aid kit, then googling “stitching leg back on at home” - that’s all the GP’s do at Bridgegate, however DIY method has a much quicker turnaround.
It’s a shame to see hardworking tax payers money paying the wages of these people. If any of the reception staff are reading this, then please don’t take the fact that you hate your job out on patients - get a new job; something with less pay more suited to your skill set.
If you want decent “healthcare” I advise to go elsewhere, anywhere.

Can’t get an appointment within a reasonable time. Reception staff don’t even acknowledge your existence when you stand at reception waiting patiently to be greeted. At least now you can use the greasy self service screen( a better way to pass on germs?). The app they now recommend doesn’t work (for me). It is so difficult getting an appointment that I’m now looking for another surgery. I will say that when you do eventually get past the gate keepers and actually manage to find the door your name was briefly mumbled from(not easy to hear given the acoustics of the waiting labyrinth) the doctors are usually kind, courteous and have time to talk.

Disgusting service, go in to make a appointment, told to phone at 8 in morning, told them I work full-time so can't use my phone at work. Phone at 8:10 one day No 28 in queue, I was at work so couldn't hold. Phoned at lunch time day after, No 7 in queue, nearly 3 hours later I was No2. I had to hang ups I had to go out. Prob doing her nails that day and ignoring the phone.
Receptionists just ignore you when you explain why you can't wait in long queues on phone cos of work rules
They have training days every month, definitely not discussing patient service

Not very good, phoned at 8 and was 12th in the que, waited over an hour, and gave up. Phoned back later, and after an hour got thru only to be told no appointments for month, maybe its better just to go to the hospital and wait 4 hours, better than 4 weeks

Absolutely appalled! The care is shocking.
- Sent a letter and had minium outcome
- practice manager was meant to call and never did, the following day I rang and they want another letter!
- at 8am sat in que sizes over 20
- cannot get appointments

Absolutely disgusting!

If I could give 'no stars' I would. I'm currently waiting on three PHONE consultations for three separate health issues (three weeks plus) plus one minor procedure (since February). GPs do their best, but the administration at this surgery is ****ing appalling. Don't bother complaining to the current Practice Manager - the policy here is to not deal with written complaints for a month after receiving the letter. This surgery needs investigating. Do not register with them.

Further to my previous review, I'm am still waiting for the minor procedure, nine months after seeing the GP. I was given an appointment last month, but it was cancelled, just a few hours before. I was assured I would be at the top of the waiting list for a new appointment... Still waiting nearly a month later. This place is failing to provide even basic duty of care.
