Baldock Surgery

I went to see a female doctor about an abdominal issue. She did not physically examine me. I was told by her that blood test results from an emergency doctor 2 weeks earlier would need to be dealt with by that doctor who only works 2 days a week at the surgery.
The female doctor just asked me to supply a water sample and made me appointment for an internal due to passing blood in my water.
I had to speak to the receptionists about my blood results and medication who sorted some bits out, which I was grateful for.
I rang up on the Monday at 8.15am to make an appointment about my blood results. I was number 47 in the queue!!
When I did get through all the appointments for the doctor to get my blood results were gone, she only works 2 days a week.
After explaining my problems to the receptionists the doctor called me.
She arranged more bloods for 4 weeks time and medication.
Still not having been examined by a doctor I woke at 3am in the early hours of Tuesday morning in extreme pain and vomiting and my partner had to call an ambulance.
Needless to say I'm not a massive a fan of the treatment of the doctors at surgery.

I think the doctors here are lovely, and a special shout out to Michelle on reception, she was very helpful with a problem I had with my mothers medication. Times have changed and I think we all need to appreciate the work these people do. They put up with alot. Thankyou to all the staff here.

Had an issue with some results and the receptionist was very apologetic and helpful! The are always friendly when I speak to them. It’s much easier to use the online booking system if you can, I always get an appointment or telephone call very quickly.

Tried phoning the surgery 3 mornings in a row, on hold for 20 mins at a time, both lines, ffs all I need to know is Where's my prescription!!!!!

Being relatively new to the area, I have nothing but praise for Baldock Surgery. Having had a couple of health issues recently, I've phoned and been triaged by polite receptionists, called back, either by a doctor or the receptionist, and offered a same day face to face appointment. Today was exceptional, I called at 08.15 was number 6 in the queue, triaged, called back and offered an appointment within an hour of my call.

I had excruciating sciatica and couldn't stand. I sent an online form and was called by a helpful GP that day, and visited by another GP at home. The following day a lovely
nurse, Ruth, came and took some bloods. The only reason l'm giving 4 stars not 5 is because l did have a long wait on the phone line. But the service has been excellent so far. The online forms do work.

Refusing to register my British!!!! Son because he lived in spain. And wanting to charge £70 for him to see a gp. Spoken to NHS England twice and have been told he can legally be seen for free by gp or a and e and would only have to pay for hospital admission . Absolutely disgusting and they will be reported
